Amanda , looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Do you take vacations? How do you keep things going – any advice for entrepreneurs who feel like they can’t step away from their business for a short vacation?

Yes, taking a vacation is a must as a business owner. While having a business some of us have families and we need to also focus on family! I personally keep things going by telling my customers we are on vacation. Any questions or concerns they can email us. We also let everyone know by a social media post of the vacation days etc. Taking a vacation is also mandatory as a business owner, we can also think of brand new ideas to bring to the business that might be helpful for our customers. My advice to all entrepreneurs is to take vacation to revamp, review and improve on upcoming products or services you want to add to your business.

Hi, my name is Amanda Sullivan and I’m the CEO of Beauti and the Beatz. I got into this industry a few years ago not knowing I was sleeping on my own talent. I also host pop up shops to introduce other small businesses to each other . I’m very proud of learning from mistakes that I have made and will continue learning from them. What set us apart from others is that we don’t stop nor give up. Taking extended breaks is well worth it to revamp things. We offer great customer service while applying make up.

Where do you think you get most of your clients from?

The best source of new clients are word of mouth and posting content.

We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?

How we built our audience is by posting constantly and introducing yourself by going into someone inbox. You have to think about how you want to build on audience. You can do so by running raffles etc.
