Amanda Rome, appreciate you joining us today. Folks often look at a successful business and imagine it was an overnight success, but from what we’ve seen this is often far from the truth. We’d love to hear your scaling up story – walk us through how you grew over time – what were some of the big things you had to do to grow and what was that scaling up journey like?
For me, how I scaled up so quickly was…. I learned how to properly delegate and be able to focus my time on the tasks that are most meaningful to my creative business as well as my artistry careers…. We all have the same 24 hours in the day it’s about how you leverage and utilize them. Work smarter, not harder.

We often hear about learning lessons – but just as important is unlearning lessons. Have you ever had to unlearn a lesson?
The biggest life lesson I had to unlearn was relying upon others to help carrying my business for me. I decided to do my own thing, and it was the best decision I ever made…. Once you free yourself and your business from the expectations and actions of others, you can truly excel. For me, I prioritize my clients, my sponsors, and my team. Those are the people interact with on a day-to-day basis, and I always wanna make sure they feel fulfilled and confident in their work output.
Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?
Something from my own personal journey that illustrates my resilience would definitely be my experience of moving to Los Angeles at 18 years old and living here (to this day!) at 27 years old, thriving off of my business. I moved here with nothing but a duffel bag and $200 in my pocket… And my dream… I realized that it’s not about where you come from, but it’s about who you create yourself into…. Actions speak louder than words!
