Amanda, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Let’s start with the story of your mission. What should we know?
The Story Behind My Mission: Supporting Agriculture Through Fitness
When I founded Farm Fit Training on March 19th, 2020, I wasn’t just launching a fitness program—I was addressing a problem that had been weighing on me for years. Growing up in a farming community, and later marrying into a 5th-generation farming family, I saw firsthand the immense physical and mental toll agriculture takes on those who dedicate their lives to feeding the world. The long hours, grueling physical labor, isolation, and stress are relentless—and the support for this community in terms of health and wellness was virtually nonexistent.
Then came 2020, a year that disrupted everyone’s lives. We were facing not only a pandemic but also the personal devastation of losing our home to a fire. It was during this period of rebuilding that I realized how critical resilience—both physical and mental—was for survival and success in the agricultural world. My own fitness journey became my outlet, and I saw how it gave me the strength to push through unimaginable challenges.
Farm Fit Training was born out of my desire to share this strength with the agriculture community. My mission is to provide tools and strategies for people in ag to not just survive the demands of their work but to thrive—to lose fat, build muscle, and improve mental health, all while staying rooted in the realities of their unique lives. This mission matters deeply to me because it’s personal. I’m part of this world. I’ve lived the struggles, and I’ve found a path to resilience that I’m determined to share with others.
At its heart, Farm Fit Training is about more than just fitness—it’s about building a community where agriculture workers and their families feel seen, supported, and empowered to take control of their health and well-being. That’s why my mission isn’t just a statement—it’s a promise to the people I care about most.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I’m Amanda Nigg, a no-nonsense fitness coach, wife to a 5th-generation farmer, mom to two boys, and the founder of Farm Fit Training. My journey into the fitness industry wasn’t a straight line—it’s rooted in my personal experiences and my connection to agriculture. I’ve worn many hats in my career, including working as a Radiation Therapist and an Insurance Agent, but my passion for fitness and helping people achieve transformative results is what brought me here.
How I Got Started
I launched Farm Fit Training in March 2020, right before the national COVID-19 lockdown, at a time when stress and uncertainty were at an all-time high for everyone, especially the agricultural community. I married into a farming family and saw firsthand the physical and mental challenges that come with the lifestyle. Farmers, ranchers, and agriculture workers are the backbone of society, but their wellness is often overlooked. Combine that with my personal challenge of losing our home to a fire, and I knew I had to channel my own resilience into something meaningful for others. Fitness gave me the strength to rebuild, and I wanted to share that with others in agriculture who needed the same tools to thrive.
What Farm Fit Training Offers
Farm Fit Training is a comprehensive at-home fitness program tailored specifically for the agricultural community and individuals in rural areas who may not have access to a gym. Our programs are designed to solve key challenges like:
Limited time: With workouts lasting just 15–25 minutes, they fit into even the busiest days.
Lack of access to equipment: Most workouts require minimal or no equipment, making them accessible to anyone.
Need for simplicity and results: The programs focus on functional hybrid training—combining traditional strength exercises with functional movements to improve strength, endurance, and mobility.
Mental health: We emphasize resilience and provide strategies to help reduce stress and improve well-being.
Our services include personalized programs, a supportive app-based community, and educational tools like nutrition guides, meal plans, and habit coaching. Clients can choose between low-commitment challenges, specialized programs, or a more comprehensive Legacy Membership for ongoing support and resources.
What Sets Us Apart
What makes Farm Fit Training unique is its focus on the agriculture industry. We don’t just create generic fitness programs—we understand the lifestyle, the physical demands, and the lack of resources in rural areas. From helping a rancher build strength for a physically demanding harvest season to coaching a farmer’s spouse who wants to stay active while raising a family, we tailor our solutions to their reality.
What also sets us apart is our focus on community and education. We don’t just give you a workout; we teach you why it works. Whether it’s explaining macros, breaking down the science of progressive overload, or sharing meal prep tips, we empower our clients to take control of their health for the long term.
What I’m Most Proud Of
I’m incredibly proud of the community we’ve built. Farm Fit Training has transformed the lives of over 2,000 people since its launch, helping them lose fat, build muscle, and gain confidence. It’s not just about physical fitness—it’s about creating a mindset of resilience and thriving, even in the face of challenges.
I’m also proud of how we’ve made fitness accessible for people who thought they didn’t have the time, resources, or energy to prioritize their health. Seeing clients achieve their goals, whether it’s fitting into a pair of jeans they haven’t worn in years or feeling strong enough to tackle a demanding harvest season, reminds me why I started this in the first place.
What I Want You to Know
Farm Fit Training isn’t just a program—it’s a movement to support the agricultural community and empower them to thrive physically, mentally, and emotionally. My mission is personal because I live this life too, and I want to make sure everyone in agriculture has the tools they need to feel strong, capable, and supported.
If you’re ready to take control of your health, whether you’re looking for a quick 14-day challenge or a full-scale wellness program, Farm Fit Training is here for you. Together, we can build the strength you need—not just for today, but for a lifetime.

Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?
In 2020, just as the world was shutting down due to the pandemic, my family faced another crisis: we lost our home to a fire. It was a moment of complete devastation. Not only were we navigating the challenges of a global pandemic, but we were also rebuilding our lives from scratch. As a mom to two boys and a wife to a farmer, I had to find a way to keep going—for them and for myself.
Fitness became my outlet during this time. It gave me the mental clarity and physical strength I needed to handle each challenge. When everything around me felt out of control, I realized I had the power to control how I reacted. That’s when the idea for Farm Fit Training solidified. I knew that if fitness could help me get through the hardest season of my life, it could do the same for others in agriculture who face relentless stress, isolation, and physical demands every day.
Resilience, to me, isn’t about avoiding challenges—it’s about facing them head-on and finding strength in the process. Losing everything and rebuilding my life taught me that. It’s why I’m so passionate about helping others find their own resilience through Farm Fit Training.

How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?
What’s helped me build my reputation in the agriculture and fitness markets is a combination of authenticity, education, and results. I’m deeply connected to the agricultural community—not just as a coach, but as someone who lives and breathes this life. My clients know I understand their unique challenges because I face them too. I don’t just talk about the grind of harvest or the isolation of rural life—I live it.
Another key factor is the way I prioritize education and empowerment. I’m not just here to give people workouts; I’m here to teach them why these workouts work. Whether it’s explaining how nutrition impacts performance or breaking down the science behind progressive overload, I make sure my clients understand the “why” behind what they’re doing. This approach builds trust and positions me as a credible resource in both fitness and agriculture.
Lastly, results speak for themselves. Farm Fit Training has transformed the lives of over 2,000 people since its launch. Those results, paired with my no-BS coaching style, have helped me stand out in an industry often cluttered with fad diets and quick fixes. My clients know I’m here to provide real, sustainable solutions, and that trust has been the foundation of my reputation.
