We were lucky to catch up with Amanda Lobanovskiy recently and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Amanda, thanks for joining us today. What do you think matters most in terms of achieving success?
What it takes to be successful are two things: Mindset and consistency! (In that order) I have attempted at least two different business ventures separate from Social Media Culture that failed because either I didn’t have the right mindset or I wasn’ t consistent but these two really do go together like peanut butter and jelly. Here is what I review with my clients when I am coaching them regarding Social media marketing:
1) Develop a growth mindset: Embrace challenges and see them as opportunities for growth. Learn from your mistakes and failures, and don’t be afraid to try new things. If you are not willing to take that leap of faith, you will never learn what works and what doesn’t. We need to be okay with failure.
2) Set clear goals: Define your goals and break them down into smaller, achievable steps. This will help you stay focused and motivated. Refer to S.M.A.R.T goal method.
3) Create a routine: Establish a routine that supports your goals and helps you stay consistent. This could include setting aside time each day for work, exercise, and self-care. The last two points especially, when we are entrepreneurs, we get too focused on the grind and forget to take care of our own needs. This only leads to burnout.
4) Hold yourself accountable: Take responsibility for your actions and hold yourself accountable for achieving your goals. This will help you stay on track and motivated.
Remember that success takes time and effort, but with the right mindset and consistent action, you can reach your goals.
My drive and view clearly started when I finally decided to take my business goals seriously and really having to sit down and have that conversation with myself, “Are you willing to commit this time NO MATTER WHAT?” Let me tell you; I work a full-time marketing job for an aesthetic dermatology company, run my own small business where I am serving clients, creating workshops, 1:1 coaching and more, and to add to that, I am blessed with three kids! But I wouldn’t have it any other way because of my mindset and consistency, I am able to show up for myself and my business everyday.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
I discovered my passion for graphic design, online marketing, community building, content creation and brand awareness while running an online boutique as a side hustle. After securing a marketing role, I gained valuable experience in the field and have now developed Social Media Culture to simplify the marketing process for my clients. I offer courses and coaching to help others elevate their social media marketing, attract leads, and showcase their brand.
There are many social media marketers out there and it’s easy to get looped into the negative mindset of not feeling like you’re doing enough as your competition. But that is just NOT the case. What I have learned is we all have something unique and beautiful to offer with our own sense of style and learning technique. What sets me apart is my style that resonates with some and my transparency and “rawness” I provide to my audience.
What an ideal client can expect from my services is, fully customizable growth plan tailored to their needs and goals. I don’t believe in the mindset, “one-size fits all” and actually strong disagree with this statement when we are talking about Social media marketing. My plans I create for my clients are specifically based off of data if I have that available and/or pivoted towards what I know works. With most of my clients, we are utilizing Instagram not to make sales and convert although for some that works but its techniques and creating a funnel to get potential clients into their email marketing list and the fun starts there. What I have learned in my years of marketing is the importance of building that relationship with your audience on social media, creating trust and the conversions occur in email marketing- this is a MUST in any business. Your ROI (return on investment) will be far greater. That’s just a sneak-peek into my formula for growing your business.
To conclude; if you want to see your business succeed, you need social media marketing! That’s where you build that community, share your personality and how your product is transformational while building your email list where the real sales happen! Again, what I offer is soo specific to each client and there is a lot of research and thought-process that goes into creating a plan. But the one thing to know is, Find that social media marketer that can help you, make the proper investments and see growth.

What’s been the best source of new clients for you?
The best source of new clients from me has been word of mouth, family/friend referrals. This is why it’s important to give the best services to all of your clients because they are going to be your #1 referral source. I have seen this in aesthetic dermatology marketing as family/friend referral is on top of the list followed by Google.
Nurture and create that relationship with your customer for example:
-Sending a thank you card with a small discount code on their next purchase
-Send Happy Birthday emails with a little gift inside
Most importantly, Be responsive: Respond to client inquiries and concerns quickly and efficiently. Make sure they know that you are always available to help them.

How do you keep in touch with clients and foster brand loyalty?
Fostering brand loyalty requires a multi-pronged approach that focuses on building a strong emotional connection with your customers. Here are some ways that I foster brand loyalty and tips for your to implement:
1. Deliver exceptional value: Provide your customers with exceptional value, whether it’s through the quality of your products, the level of service you offer, or the price you charge.
2. Build an emotional connection: Create a brand story that resonates with your customers on a personal level. Make sure that your brand values align with those of your customers, and communicate them consistently across all channels.
3. Reward loyalty: Offer rewards and incentives to customers who continue to do business with you. This can be in the form of exclusive discounts, special promotions, or personalized experiences.
4. Provide excellent customer service: Ensure that your customers have a positive experience every time they interact with your brand. Respond to their inquiries and concerns promptly, and go above and beyond to exceed their expectations.
5. Build a community: Create a sense of community around your brand by engaging with your customers on social media, hosting events, and creating user-generated content.
By focusing on these strategies, you can foster brand loyalty and create a loyal customer base that will continue to do business with you and advocate for your brand.
