We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Amanda James a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Amanda, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. One of the most important things we can do as business owners is ensure that our customers feel appreciated. What’s something you’ve done or seen a business owner do to help a customer feel valued?
First, I would like to say that showing appreciation to the people who support you is a must. I show appreciation to my customers, by sometimes giving them something for free. This is my way of showing them, that shopping with The JG Clothing LLC is not overlooked. I’m very grateful to anyone who chooses to shop with us, and while I have a chance, I would like to say that anyone who decides to shop with us, is also helping towards a greater cause. One of our visions here at The JG Clothing LLC is to not only sell fashionable, affordable clothing, but it is also to help with proverty stricken places, mental health, and addiction problems. Our goal is to help save lives also.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
My name is Amanda James I am the owner of The JG Clothing LLC. My goal is to provide the people with stylish, quality clothing that want hurt their pockets. I decided That I wanted to start this company as a child, because I’ve always like to dress a certain type of way, but as a child it wasn’t always feasible for me to do so, so I said if I ever had a chance to, that I would help others in that same situation do what I wasn’t able to do back then. So here I am today, trying to do my part with helping others feel good just by getting ready for the day. I love what I do, so to know that I can put a smile on someone else’s face, just by doing what I love to do, makes me proud. I want my customers to feel comfortable and confident when they wear our clothing. So my goal is to always ensure that our customers are satisfied with our product.

We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.
I’ve had to be resilient, consistent, and stand strong, even when others didn’t quite believe in my vision. That brings me to say, that even when no one else supports or believe in what you’re doing, if it’s something your passionate about do it anyway. As I said before I saw myself doing this as a child, I had the vision then. So I decided to stand up, hold my head up, and push forward. Did I have doubts, I most certainly did, but it was that resilience and tenacity that kept me from giving up. Never give up on you, have that type of faith and hope that can’t be broken. I also always pray for Wisdom and Knowledge in everything that I do. Will you make mistakes or get something’s wrong, YES. But that’s all apart of learning, so don’t allow those mistakes to detour you from proceeding and using your GOD giving gifts and talents.

Any thoughts, advice, or strategies you can share for fostering brand loyalty?
I keep in touch with customers by always doing giveaways or offering discounts. I also always try to produce something new, something different to keep the customers engaged With our product. This is another way that I like to show my appreciation to customers and supporters. Social media and email is also a great way to keep in touch with customers.
