Recently, I embraced the challenge of rebranding my business. When I founded Body By Amanda over 12 years ago, I didn’t anticipate that the name would eventually feel limiting. However, after a decade, it did just that. My work with clients had evolved significantly, delving deeper into the realms of stress management, hormone balance, and nutrition by adopting a holistic and sustainable methodology. The decision to move away from “Body By Amanda” and rebrand as Hart Wellness was fraught with risk and fear, yet I have no regrets. The new name, Hart Wellness, reflects the comprehensive support I provide to my clients, which extends far beyond just physical transformation.

What’s a lesson you had to unlearn and what’s the backstory?
If there’s one significant lesson I’ve had to unlearn, it’s the old adage “no pain, no gain.”
For years in my early career, I subscribed to the belief that unless you were pushing yourself to the brink every single day, you weren’t doing enough. It wasn’t until I saw the signs of burnout in both myself and my clients that I recognized the need for change.
Fitness, I’ve come to understand, is more than the weights we lift or the miles we run. It’s about creating a sustainable lifestyle that nurtures the body and the mind. I had to let go of the idea that rest was synonymous with failure and embrace the fact that recovery is just as essential as the workout itself.
