Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Amanda Espinoza. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Amanda, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Let’s talk about social media – do you manage your own or do you have someone or a company that handles it for you? Why did you make the choice you did?
I manage my own social media. I went this route of running my own social media to where if a client messaged me I’m the one to respond and not someone who is not in my field answering their questions. I’m new to Colorado so building my clients and starting over has been little hard but it is getting there. Just to take an hour or two out of your work day to be the one to check the messages and to run your social media on your own.
Amanda, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
My name is Amanda I was born and raised in California where I became a hair stylist if 10 years (retired) and a paramedical artist for 2 years. My family and I moved to Colorado in March (2023) where I continue to do paramedical tattooing. Paramedical tattooing is where I can help people who have scars, dark spot, radiation markers, stretch marks, non-laser tattoo or permanent makeup removal. I help people that have scars that are just to noticeable I can go in and either lighten them or camouflage them to match their skin tone. I turn radiation markers into freckles and I help stretch marks became less noticeable. I got into this industry to help people feel more confident about themselves and to see them smile from ear to ear after the results is priceless and that’s why I love what I do. What makes me proud of my company is knowing that I get to help someone with something they dislike and that I pay attention to what they are asking for and I give my clients 100% of my attention. I want them to know that it’s ok to love yourself no matter what but to camouflage a scar, lighten a stretch mark, c-section scar or dark spots or even to remove a tattoo to love yourself a little more is ok too.
What’s been the best source of new clients for you?
Back in California the best source to get new clients was posting on our town Facebook groups. Here in Colorado it’s been a little harder to I been Facebook advertising or going old school and passing out flyers.
How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?
Talking and educating people about the services I offer and showing them pics of before and after and even during the healing stage of the treatment.
