We recently connected with Amanda Danielle Garza and have shared our conversation below.
Amanda Danielle, appreciate you joining us today. Almost all entrepreneurs have had to decide whether to start now or later? There are always pros and cons for waiting and so we’d love to hear what you think about your decision in retrospect. If you could go back in time, would you have started your business sooner, later or at the exact time you started?
I took the leap and started my first business Amanda Danielle Brows + Beauty as a side gig in October 2019.
I had been working in the cosmetics industry for over 10 years and was fortunate enough to work with some of the biggest beauty brands in the industry but still wasn’t fulfilled.
Most of my days were spent driving across Texas going just to spend a few hours in store and drive back.
Some days I was in the car 3-4hrs, leaving as soon as I dropped my daughter off at school and getting home well after her bedtime.
I knew that way of life wasn’t sustainable for me, I was missing out on so much family time and I began to resent what I did but I was too comfortable to do anything else.
I started looking into permanent cosmetics and saw an opportunity to get me out of the traveling and keep me in the beauty industry.
After taking my first course I was all in and knew where my future was headed but was still hesitant to make the leap full on so I started renting out a suite and working my clients around my full time work schedule.
After a few crazy months of juggling everything I finally felt like I had a rhythm going and then COVID hit hard!
The cosmetics company I was working for at the time laid everyone off, I no longer had a safety net to fall back on.
I was scared but I knew I had to make a move. After lockdown lifted I decided it was time to put all my energy and efforts into myself and my own business.
I started looking at store fronts and in May 2020 the perfect location 5 min from my house opened up and Beauté Rituals was born!
I finally felt like this was it, this is what I was supposed to do all along, being pushed out of my comfort zone was the best thing to ever happen to me.
I was forced to make it happen and without the push from the universe I don’t know if I would have.

I’ve been in the beauty industry for over 18 years and always knew I wanted to own a beauty business.
Helping people feel better about themselves is my passion! When you feel good, you look good!
At Beautè Rituals we specialize in all things eyebrows and skin.
We carry products that work and just so happen to be good for you too.
Knowledge and client experience really set us apart, we are constantly learning, growing and adapting.
Our mission truly is to help everyone feel a little more confident in their skin and if we can shave some time off your morning routine that’s just an added bonus ;)
I’m most proud of being a mom and a business owner. I know lots of women who do it and make it look effortless but lemme tell you, its hard work! Especially having a baby in the early stages of building a new business.
Both baby and business require your full attention and energy and learning that balance has definitely been a delicate dance. Having a supportive partner who understands the bigger picture has kept me motivated and sane lol
How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?
Definitely word of mouth. New Braunfels is growing rapidly and with that growth comes plenty of options for people to fulfill their beauty needs. Despite that our clients keep coming back and love us enough to continue recommending us to their friends and family.
At Beautè Rituals we strive to always exceed client expectations and give everyone the best service possible. Our consultations are built on 3 key factors: 1. Listening to the clients needs and overall. Concerns 2. Customizing top of the line services paired with the highest quality products. 3. Teaching the client the techniques and application to achieve their skin and brow goals.
My wish is that everyone who walks through our doors leaves feeling like a VIP.
Can you tell us about a time you’ve had to pivot?
Let’s be honest I think the whole world had to pivot during COVID. Prior to 2020 my business was solely focused on services. With lockdown hitting and people less inclined to leave their houses to even go to the grocery store let alone allow someone to perform a beauty service on them were we are essentially face to face I knew something needed to change. I needed to add a new facet to my business where I could generate sales without relying on services only. Voila! Beautè Rituals! A one stop shop for all your beauty services, education and products. A place where my clients could not only stop in to get a revitalizing facial or their brows done but they can also get a quick lesson and purchase the products I use during those services and I personally can’t get enough of.
