We were lucky to catch up with Alyssa Simpson recently and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Alyssa thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Can you tell us a bit about who your hero is and the influence they’ve had on you?
Adam Sandler! This might sound so silly but my boy Adam Sandler has become part of my personal brand for a very specific reason.
Adam Sandler is the definition of confidence and authenticity; he has built his empire around just being himself, he shows up to red carpet events in Ugg boots and Hawaiian shirts, and is the definition of someone who beats to their own drum.
In my line of work, I teach people how to lean into their authenticity because authenticity is the highest frequency that you can possibly operate at, and when you operate at the highest possible frequency, you have no other option but to become a match for everything you’re trying to bring to life off your vision board.
Being an entrepreneur takes an equal mix of confidence and passion, and anytime I’ve found myself in the slumps of entrepreneurship, I just think, W.W.A.D – what would Adam do?

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
With a natural fire for being eccentric, it only made sense that I bring that into my coaching, and it’s been so magical helping other women do the same.
Before I found my one true love of mindset and manifestation, I was slingin’ pasta and wine for a corporate restaurant chain. I worked my way up from server to manager, then dropped out of that world after losing both my parents within 6 months of each other. Something about that trauma lit a fire under my ass to shine brighter, live louder, and bring my gifts to the world.
I was that “weird” kid who talked too much about the metaphysical stuff, would spend more time in the new age section at Barnes & Noble than the CD section, listened to Art Bell, and watched bootleg alien abduction VHS’s I’d beg my dad to record for me. Mental mindset musings were my ultimate hobby, and thankfully my parents encouraged it even though no one else my age was into that lol. I was always told growing up by teachers, friends, parents, family members, and even strangers that I had an old soul. Not really knowing what that even meant, looking back, I can see it so clearly. I have always been the natural mentor for my friends, family, and peers.
When I dropped out of the corporate world, I dabbled in affiliate marketing, social media management, and digital selling, just trying to find something that stuck, and for two years I ignored my intuition to go into coaching. Do you ever have something so natural to you that you don’t even realize how it can be used in the world? Yeah… that was me with coaching.
Outside of being a mindset and manifestation coach, I am severely in love with animals (specifically cows), would own an interior design business if I wasn’t doing this, I love reality TV, and if you mention just one bravolebrity I can throw you 3 opinions I have on them. I’m a high-class country girl with a large hippy boho heart. I am living out my dream life with my husband in Texas currently studying up on all things homesteading and natural living with some M&Ms in my han

Learning and unlearning are both critical parts of growth – can you share a story of a time when you had to unlearn a lesson?
The biggest lesson I had to unlearn was how to turn off all the outside noise. We live in a communal society that teaches us how to “fit in.” We’re taught at a young age to not rock the boat, go with the majority, and make as little noise as possible. I had to unlearn that that way of living wasn’t going to be what made me successful. I couldn’t possibly do what everyone else was doing and live the life I desired to live.
I had to get comfortable with making others uncomfortable for being my most authentic self. I had to unlearn that success only looks like one thing. I had to unlearn that only the top 1% of the world got to live the life they desired. I had to unlearn all of the conditioning that was keeping me stuck in my journey to become a master manifester that I am today.

Are there any books, videos, essays or other resources that have significantly impacted your management and entrepreneurial thinking and philosophy?
The Magic by Rhonda Byrne changed my life.
You Are A Badass At Making Money by Jen Sincero should be read by every entrepreneur with a lack money mindset.
