We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Alyssa Jones a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Alyssa, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. What sort of legacy are you hoping to build. What do you think people will say about you after you are gone, what do you hope to be remembered for?

I’m a designer, consultant, and brand strategist specializing in helping women entrepreneurs tell their stories through beautiful design. Through our time together, I help them build their brands, get clarity on what they truly want in business, and ultimately uncover opportunities to help them grow their companies.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers

I am an experienced web designer, graphic designer and marketing strategist. I help woman-owned businesses create their online brand identity. From web design to business strategy, I develop innovative branding and marketing solutions that resonate with their audience.

I believe that when you empower women, you empower the world. My mission is to help women-owned businesses grow into successful brands by offering creative solutions that empower them to succeed.

Can you open up about how you funded your business?

Like many women in business I self-funded my business. I leveraged money from my 9 to 5 to start my business.

I know firsthand that getting loans as a small business and raising money can be challenging. So why not bootstrap?

The journey wasn’t easy but it was definitely worthwhile.

What’s been the most effective strategy for growing your clientele?

The goal is to build relationships with our clients so that they refer us to their family and friends because we provide an unforgettable experience from start to finish.

We take great pride in getting to know them and their businesses, so that we can create brands that are truly a reflection of the business owner we are working with.
