We recently connected with Aly Gray and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Aly thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Covid has brought about so many changes – has your business model changed?
Covid times required me to completely pivot my in-person business model to a remote one. It’s how Aly Gray Fitness was born! The shut down encouraged me to build an online platform Aly On Demand serving home HIIT classes, nutrition guidance and fitness challenges.
It’s allowed me to train and make an income from clients all over the world. Now I can operate a consistent online business AND in person training as Aly Gray Fitness before during and after covid.

Aly, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
Aly Gray Fitness offers fitness at your fingertips with Aly On Demand and also offers in-persons classes and 1×1 training too in the Santa Rosa beach area.
My training business began in Boston MA as a body builder and personal trainer who taught fitness classes as an Equinox Group X instructor.
Now, my Aly Gray Fitness workouts are focused on maximizing time and space with limited equipment. I strengthen female clients who enjoy strength & conditioning workouts.
My classes set me apart because I bring dynamic workouts that are efficient and effective with 1 or 2 pieces of equipment performed LIVE or in-person & recorded for 24/7 On Demand access.
On my website, alygrayfitness.com you can purchase AGFITFAM memberships, 1×1 online coaching or personal training, join fitness challenges, view Aly’s Kitchen virtual cookbook, read my fitness blog and shop AGF merchandise for my signature booty bands and clothing.
Outside of Aly On Demand, I am very active in my community here in Santa Rosa Beach FL teaching local classes and doing personal training as a travel trainer!

Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?
My social media audience grew a lot in a 6 month time frame when I competed in Boston’s National Body Building Competition October 2019 and won in multiple divisions as figure and bikini champion. This achievement brought a lot of attention to social media while I was working as a full time fitness professional for Equinox, a boutique gym as a Group X instructor. Less than 6 months later in March 2020 is when Covid shut down the gyms and I offered to teach live classes off instagram live! Equinox friends and staff advertised my classes and I had thousands of new followers eager to keep their fitness routine up from home. Shortly after I built Aly On Demand!

What’s been the best source of new clients for you?
Word of mouth and referrals are a personal trainer / instructors best business source! I build strong loyalty with clients and keep a relationship for a lifetime so when clients bring new members to class or refer for PT I’m always excited to grow the AGFITFAM!
