We were lucky to catch up with Alvey Matlock recently and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Alvey, thanks for joining us today. One deeply underappreciated facet of being a service provider is the kind of crazy stuff that happens from time to time. It could be anything from a disgruntled client attacking an employee or waking up to find out a celebrity gave you a shoutout on TikTok – the sudden, unexpected hits (both positive and negative) make the profession both exhilarating and exhausting. Can you share one of your craziest stories?
To put this into context, there are many stories I can share related to the investigative forensics I do on a daily bases. These cases, the people and technology involved all have very unique stories with some incredible findings and very tragic in some cases. They are stories I can share to learn from and tells of caution related to human nature and their use of technology. My background is in technology, investigative forensics corporate, military, law enforcement and finally private consulting. These stories include distracted driving killing 3 generations of a family, stored of data theft and insider threats to corporations, tells of false allegations proven to be false or true in some cases that either freed a individual or sent them through our judicial system.

Alvey, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
