Alpa, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today We’d love to have you retell us the story behind how you came up with the idea for your business, I think our audience would really enjoy hearing the backstory.

Being born and raised in Paris, I always enjoyed fashion, more than a trend, for me it has always been a form to express yourself. I lived in Mumbai where I worked in a PR company with numerous fashion designer. After moving to Florida, more specifically Orlando, where fashion would mostly be very casual, I kept my french style. I had no problem wearing a blazer in the middle of Summer which caught people’s attention. They were first intrigued but many would come ask me where I got my outfit from which gave me the idea to showcase my outfits on a platform accessible to everyone and that’s when my blog was born. Now anyone that would be ask questions, I would guide them to my blog, my audience grew, Instagram came and that’s when it all started. Having an audience already, my instagram grew pretty fast, I worked on it for about two years and then started monetizing it. It has now been my full time job since 6 years.

I was born and raised in Paris, France with Indian ethnicity. I graduated in an International business majoring in Marketing which helps a lot with my social media.

I am proud on always keeping it real with my audience from day 1 which created a beautiful relationship with my followers. It’s lovely to hear that you are able to empower women

How did you build your audience on social media?

Be authentic, be honest, be patient, be creative, do not compare yourself with other people on social media, work hard, be social and attend key events. Keep your life private for your own good.

What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?

I would say again being honest once again, once you audience loose trust in you, it’s over.
