Allyson, appreciate you joining us today. Coming up with the idea is so exciting, but then comes the hard part – executing. Too often the media ignores the execution part and goes from idea to success, skipping over the nitty, gritty details of executing in the early days. We think that’s a disservice both to the entrepreneurs who built something amazing as well as the public who isn’t getting a realistic picture of what it takes to succeed. So, we’d really appreciate if you could open up about your execution story – how did you go from idea to execution?
Transitioning from my role as a medical assistant to establishing a business in credentialing and billing for medical entities, particularly focusing on mental health providers across the United States, was a profound realization of the intricacies inherent in healthcare administration. Working within the medical field provided firsthand insight into the indispensable yet often overlooked components crucial for facilitating patient care.
I also needed a more flexible schedule with my children and wanted to offer flexible, legit, remote opportunities for other parents across the US.
Collaborating with my sister, Kayla, an adept professional in billing, we embarked on a concerted effort to address this vital aspect of healthcare delivery. Our endeavor was characterized by meticulous planning, diligent research, and a steadfast commitment to excellence. Opting to forgo conventional financing, we instead directed our energies towards organically fostering the growth of our enterprise.
The initial phase of our venture was marked by intensive efforts to meet operational milestones and establish a reputation for reliability and quality service. Notably, our early success was largely propelled by word-of-mouth referrals, a testament to the effectiveness of our approach.
However, as our business expanded, we recognized the need for broader outreach and strategic marketing initiatives. Consequently, we undertook nationwide efforts to not only provide comprehensive billing solutions but also forge collaborative partnerships with healthcare professionals to enhance patient care delivery.
In summary, our journey underscores the fusion of passion, diligence, and strategic foresight aimed at addressing critical gaps in healthcare administration and ensuring equitable access to essential services for all individuals.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I started AC Billing & Crredentialing specialists, llc after my children needed a more flexible mom and todays workforce does not provide a reasonable work schedule for parents who want to parent. I wanted to be sure other parents were able to have this as well and offered to train then in this field as we got started. I also loved the behind the scenes work of the business knowing we were the reason patients could be seen and helping clinicians and physicians dreams of helping patients to come true.
After started, we quickly realized that these offices needed more than just credentialing and billing services and we started offering administrative services and that is when we launched AC Medical Administrators.
We offer credentialing, contracting, billing, billing guidance, claims clean up to clincians and physicians across the nation which in turns helps patients to be seen. We also offer scheduling, insurance verifications, intake, EHR set up for clinicians, patient communication, marketing and more.
We also work with ministries and organization to provide free services so that patients get the help with need in a reasonable time.
I am most proud of how much we have grown by word of mouth and the value of our work that each and every employee and or contractor we have holds. I am very proud of each and every one of them and how far they have come. They have each been with us from the beginning stages and have helped build this dream knowing it would pay off for them as well.

The most effective strategy for expanding our client base has been a combination of word-of-mouth referrals and targeted marketing efforts. Initially, our focus was on delivering exceptional service to our existing clients, which naturally led to them recommending our services to others in their network. We are big on communication and explaining our servicews as we go as well as providing updates to our clinicians and physicians. Additionally, we’ve implemented targeted marketing campaigns to reach potential clients who may benefit from our services. This combination of organic referrals and strategic outreach has been instrumental in steadily growing our clientele over time.
