Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Ally Davis. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Hi Ally, thanks for joining us today. Let’s start with a story that highlights an important way in which your brand diverges from the industry standard.
Absolutely—and that’s one of the reasons I created Giselle Stella in the first place. In the jewelry industry, especially in the fine and fashion segments, there’s often a disconnect between affordability and quality. I knew from my 20+ years in the corporate & wholesale space that many brands price their jewelry based on markups—not value. I wanted to change that.
At Giselle Stella, we offer hypoallergenic, water-resistant, tarnish-free luxury pieces—but without the markup that typically comes with that level of quality. We also don’t mass-produce or oversaturate our collections. Instead, we create limited-edition drops that make our customers feel special and in-the-know. We believe luxury should feel personal, not cookie-cutter.
One story that still sticks with me: A customer told me she had stopped wearing jewelry altogether because everything she tried caused irritation or tarnished within weeks. When she wore our jewelry, she cried. She said it felt like she got a piece of herself back. That’s when I knew we were doing something different—and necessary.
Our difference isn’t just in the materials or pricing—it’s in the intention. Every collection is designed to celebrate identity, confidence, and connection. We’re not just selling jewelry. We’re delivering “luxury without limits.”

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
I’m Ally Davis, the Founder & CEO of Giselle Stella, a jewelry brand rooted in faith, family, and the belief that every woman deserves to feel beautiful inside and out. I’m a wife and mom of two—my daughter Giselle Stella, who inspired the name of the brand, and my son Jordan. I’ve spent over 20 years working in the jewelry industry across retail, wholesale, merchandising, and e-commerce. I’ve held senior roles in Fortune 500 companies in both fashion and fine jewelry, and I’m also a Graduate Gemologist from GIA and a Certified Gemologist from AGS.
After years of helping brands grow, I realized I had my own ideas, my own vision, and a desire to create something that truly served women in a more meaningful way. When I felt the corporate world no longer aligned with my values—especially around work-life balance and creativity—I stepped out in faith to start my own brand. And I haven’t looked back.
Giselle Stella offers high-quality, hypoallergenic, water-resistant, tarnish-free jewelry designed to inspire confidence and joy. Every piece is part of a limited-edition collection, giving women access to luxury that’s affordable & functional. Whether you’re shopping for a meaningful gift or the perfect statement piece, we’ve got something to help you shine.
But we’re more than jewelry. Our mission is to spark joy, build community, and remind women of their worth. Through our Styled & Social events and affirmational jewelry collections like “I Am Enough” and “More Self Love”, we curate both product and experience. We’ve seen firsthand how a single piece of jewelry can empower someone, shift their mindset, or bring healing.
What sets us apart is the heart behind every piece. I created Giselle Stella to disrupt the idea that luxury is only for a few. Our brand believes in “Luxury Without Limits”—no matter your budget, background, or where you are in life, you deserve to feel celebrated.
What I’m most proud of is the community we’ve built. Seeing women walk into our retail space at Newmarket in Metuchen, NJ or our pop-up installations, light up while trying on our jewelry, and leave feeling confident—it’s a feeling I’ll never take for granted. My goal is for every customer to feel seen, supported, and stylish when they engage with our brand, online or in person.

We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.
One of the biggest tests of my resilience came when I was at the height of my corporate career. I had just been offered a major promotion to COO—a title that looked impressive on paper but came with a price: longer hours, constant travel, and less time with my children. I knew accepting it would mean sacrificing the very moments I cherished most as a mom and wife. So, I did something unexpected: I turned it down.
Eight months later, I was let go.
It felt like a punch to the gut at the time, but in hindsight, it was divine intervention. That closed door gave me the time, clarity, and space I needed to pour into myself and finally pursue my dream of launching Giselle Stella. What could have broken me actually built me.
Resilience isn’t just about pushing through—it’s about realigning with your purpose, even when it hurts. That season taught me to trust God’s timing, honor my values, and believe that what’s meant for me will never pass me by.

We’d love to hear the story of how you turned a side-hustle into a something much bigger.
Yes—what started as a side hustle turned into a full-time, purpose-driven business.
Giselle Stella began during a moment of clarity and faith. At the time, I was still working a demanding job in eCommerce as a Director of Merchandise. I had spent over 20 years in the jewelry industry and always dreamed of building something that reflected my values—something rooted in authenticity, family, and community. But the security of a salary and the fear of failure kept me from moving.
That changed when, on my birthday, my husband handed me the paperwork for my LLC and said, “It’s time.” That simple gift was the push I needed. Within three weeks, Giselle Stella was born.
In the beginning, I worked late nights and weekends, fulfilling orders from my kitchen table and building relationships through social media. I was juggling motherhood, a demanding job, and a brand-new business—but I was lit up by the work. Every sale, every thank-you note from a customer, every moment someone told me our jewelry made them feel seen reminded me I was doing something meaningful.
Key milestones that helped us scale:
Opening our first retail location at Newmarket in Metuchen, where customers can now shop our products in person.
Hosting Styled & Social events that bring women together for styling, empowerment, and real connection.
Launching limited-edition, affirmational jewelry collections like I Am Enough and More Self Love that resonate deeply with our community.
And most recently, creating custom jewelry for the 2025 WNBA Rookie Class in collaboration with L’Oréal, a milestone that affirmed we’re playing on a national stage.
Today, Giselle Stella is my full-time career, my calling, and my legacy. And it all started with a step of faith and a side hustle that wouldn’t stay small.
