Alliyah, appreciate you joining us today. Can you open up about a risk you’ve taken – what it was like taking that risk, why you took the risk and how it turned out?
About 3-4 years ago I decided to chase after my dreams 100% and left the job industry. I decided to work for myself by doing contract jobs like Skip the dishes and Uber eats, and picking up side hustles that allowed me to stay up with my social media posting and still earn money from home.
It was a big risk for me as I had all the regular bills like paying rent, cell phone, parking, grocery, car etc while still trying to put money into social media.
I had alot of doubt as if id be able to survive or even be able to afford not having a job but i had to bet on myself and stick to the plan.

Hi my names Alliyah and im a Entrepeneur/Social Media Influencer. Im also a self taught dancer.
I got into the industry by knowing what my vision was and implementing online. I knew what i wanted to portray and that i wanted to stay true to myself so i started posting try on hauls on Youtube and doing Youtube Shorts of me showing off my outfits while also dancing. I posted pretty consistently and one day when i was posting my try on haul my videos started to blow up.
Once that happened to keep the momentum I continued to post everyday and got more involved with the other features the app had to offer.
I offer dance lessons, dance gigs, modeling gigs & fashion help/advice.
If my clients have a problem with their image i help them get the desired look they want.
I stand out from everyone with my contagious energy, its very creative and inspiring.
I am most proud of how far i have come and what i’ve achieved on my journey so far, theres alot of things i have planned in store and alot of things left to do but i couldnt be more proud of following my dreams.
I want them to know that my brand is very creative and outgoing, im here to make everyone feel beautiful in their skin and with their choice of style. To aim for your dreams and never give up. Work hard for what you want as the end result will show your progress.
What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?
Being able to release my own creative energy into the world and working with Brands who give me the creative freedom to showcase their work in my own way. I feel its very important for me to feel like its my energy creating the magic for everyone to see. It makes me happy to continue doing what i love
Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?
How i built my audience was by being myself and posting good quality content everyday, even without having the best camera with the best lighting and background.
I mean a video of me being myself putting my energy into what im doing and me liking the end result enough to post it online. That is how i built my social media presence and how i continue to grow.
If your just starting off dont look at the amount of views, likes etc. Focus on your quality and consistency
