Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Allison Pulaski. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Allison, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today If you had a defining moment that you feel really changed the trajectory of your career, we’d love to hear the story and details.
When I was newly pregnant with my first child, the OBGYN handed me a list of products and foods that I was not to use during my pregnancy, for the safety of my baby. A lightbulb went off at that time… “Why should I be using these any other time, then?” This led me down a rabbit hole around product ingredients and their affect on the human body including endocrine disruption, birth defects, and more potential risks. Little did I know that 3 years later I would be laid-off from my corporate job and entering esthetics school. Clean ingredients are one of the cornerstones of my practice and I am very passionate about changing the way we think about what is safe for our bodies, skin, and overall health.

Allison, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

Little did I know that 3 years later I would be laid-off from my corporate job and entering esthetics school. Clean ingredients are one of the cornerstones of my practice and I am very passionate about changing the way we think about what is safe for our bodies, skin, and overall health. I specialize in holistic and rejuvinative skincare and beauty services that make your life easier including permanent makeup, lash extensions, and other basic lash and brow services. I’m proud of the fact that I was able to start my practice while pregnant with my second baby and have already found my footing in the Lone Tree community. My superpower is connecting with people and connecting people to other people. I really thrive in getting to know people and opening doors to experiences, needs, and wants for them and for myself along the way.
Any advice for growing your clientele? What’s been most effective for you?
Word of mouth has really been the most effective strategy for growing my clientele. I think this stems from building trust with my existing clients as well as consistency in the services I provide.

We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.
When I left my full-time marketing career to pursue esthetics I had little to no income for almost 8 months. This was hard on our family and really made us take a serious look at what was important. Ultimately, the goal of being able to have more flexibility for my family and life balance was what drove us to push through it even when times were tough.
