Allison, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today What do you think matters most in terms of achieving success?
I feel like consistency and the drive to just get out and there and do it without worrying about failing. Things don’t have to be perfect the first time around and roadblocks are normal, but having the courage to really go after your dreams is magic!
Allison, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
My name is Allison Cooper and I own two companies. I launched Project Motherhood in 2010 and consider myself an OG blogger and influencer. In 2024, I launched Influencer Secrets Academy where I work with nano and micro-influencers to teach them how to scale their business and make a full-time living right from the start. I host classes, boot camps, have a mastermind group and courses – all for those who are really serious about taking their influence and making it their full-time income.
Have you ever had to pivot?
2024 was a tough year for me. I ended up leaving a very toxic job towards the end of the year and was left having to answer those “what’s next?” questions. I decided to pivot and take a break from the corporate world after being completely burned out and invest in myself. I went all in with my current business that I have neglected for some time and launched a new business as well. It was scary and I took a lot of risks. I have a family to support so there is no time to waste and taking immediate steps towards scaling was really important to me.
How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?
Working in the influencer space since 2010 with Project Motherhood and having a thriving community there gave me the clout I needed whenever I launched Influencer Secrets Academy. People were able to see that I was already successful in that space so they were able to quickly build trust in invest in me.
