We were lucky to catch up with Allison Bray recently and have shared our conversation below.
Allison, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. What sort of legacy are you hoping to build. What do you think people will say about you after you are gone, what do you hope to be remembered for?
I hope to build a legacy as someone who made motherhood feel possible, manageable, and even empowering for other women. My hope is to create a legacy that shows moms they are strong, capable, and never alone on this journey. Through My Motherhood Agenda, I aim to give women the tools and confidence to thrive in motherhood while also carving out space for themselves as individuals.
Beyond that, I want to inspire others in entrepreneurship—especially moms—to pursue their dreams and know they have the strength to build something meaningful. I hope people will say I led with compassion, innovation, and an unwavering belief in women’s power to do incredible things.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
My name is Allison Bray, and I’m the founder of My Motherhood Agenda, a company born out of my own experiences as a mom and my desire to create something that truly supports mothers in managing the complexities of modern motherhood. I’ve always been passionate about empowering women, and after navigating the ups and downs of motherhood myself, I realized there was a need for tools that make this journey not just manageable but fulfilling.
My Motherhood Agenda offers beautifully designed, functional planners that help moms organize their days, prioritize self-care, and keep track of the things that matter most — all while giving themselves the grace to know they’re doing enough. What sets us apart is our focus on simplicity and emotional support. We don’t just sell a product; we offer a mindset shift: you can thrive in motherhood.
I’m most proud of the way our products and message have resonated with other moms. Hearing from women who say, ‘This planner changed my outlook on my day-to-day life,’ or, ‘I finally feel like I can breathe again,’ fuels everything we do. I want potential clients and followers to know that My Motherhood Agenda is here to support them, not just as moms but as women who deserve to feel capable, strong, and seen.

Do you sell on your site, or do you use a platform like Amazon, Etsy, Cratejoy, etc?
We currently sell our planners through our website, which allows us to deliver a personalized and cohesive brand experience for our customers. While we work with external fulfillment partners to handle printing and shipping, maintaining our own platform gives us the ability to fully customize the shopping journey, from the moment someone visits the site to the unboxing of their planner.
Platforms like Amazon and Etsy have benefits, such as access to a larger audience and built-in marketplace tools, but they don’t provide the same level of creative control or the ability to connect directly with our community. By using our own website, we can build stronger relationships with our customers, offer exclusive content, and ensure every detail reflects the heart of My Motherhood Agenda.
Balancing this approach with outsourced logistics lets us focus on what we do best—empowering moms to take control of their motherhood journey—while ensuring a seamless and professional shopping experience.

How about pivoting – can you share the story of a time you’ve had to pivot?
Pivoting has been a key part of my journey, both in life and business. One of the most significant moments came when I was developing My Motherhood Agenda. Originally, my vision was much smaller—focused on creating a planner for moms based on my own experience. However, as I spoke with more mothers, I realized there was a deeper need to address the overwhelm and lack of support many feel during their motherhood journey.
This insight led me to expand the planner beyond a simple organizational tool to something much more comprehensive—a resource that empowers moms to prioritize self-care, set achievable goals, and celebrate wins, big and small. It wasn’t an easy transition; I had to reimagine the entire structure and invest in creating a product that truly reflected this mission.
That pivot completely changed the trajectory of my business. It taught me that listening to your audience and being open to change are essential for growth. The success of the updated planner confirmed that when you align your work with the needs of your community, you can create something truly impactful.
