Allie, appreciate you joining us today. So let’s jump to your mission – what’s the backstory behind how you developed the mission that drives your brand?

IN 2019, AFTER GOING THROUGH MY OWN HEALTH JOURNEY, I CAME UP WITH THE IDEA OF OPENING A PLACE WHERE INDIVIDUALS COULD USE INGREDIENTS FOUND IN NATURE TO HEAL. AT THE TIME, I WAS OVERWEIGHT, GRIEVING THE LOSS OF MY MOM AND NOT TAKING CARE OF MYSELF. I ENDED UP FINDING MYSELF SICK. I HAD EVERY SYMPTOM IN THE BOOK…YOU NAME IT I HAD IT! DESPITE TRYING ALL THE CONVENTIONAL OUTLETS, I WAS NOT GETTING ANY ANSWERS AS TO WHY THIS WAS HAPPENING. WITH MY INTUITION LOUDLY BANGING AT THE DOOR, I DECIDED TO TRUST MYSELF AND TAKE MY POWER BACK BECAUSE WE ARE OUR OWN BEST HEALERS AFTER ALL.

I SPENT MY TIME RESEARCHING NATURAL SOLUTIONS, CHANGING MY DIET AND LIFESTYLE IN GENERAL AND ULTIMATELY FOUND MY TRIBE OF HEALERS. I FOUND OUT I HAD EPSTEIN-BARR, HASHIMOTO AND EXTREME GUT DYSBIOSIS ALL BROUGHT ON BY STUCK, SUPPRESSED EMOTIONS AND TRAUMAS IN THE BODY…I CAN SAY WITH CONFIDENCE I BELIEVE 90% OF ILLNESS IS EMOTIONAL. AFTER FINDING THIS INFORMATION OUT, I WORKED ON MY PHYSICAL AND EMOTIONAL BODY. I LOST 100 POUNDS, CHANGED MY LIFESTYLE, SLOWED DOWN AND I JUICED MY HEART OUT.

THROUGH THIS PROCESS, I FOUND THAT FOODS AND PLANTS ARE MEDICINE. EVERY DAY NATURE PROVIDES US WITH AN EXCESS AMOUNT OF FREE MEDICINE AND I WANT EVERYONE TO LEARN HOW TO CLAIM IT! I BELIEVE I WENT THROUGH MY EXPERIENCE TO TEACH OTHERS THAT THEY TOO CAN HEAL HOLISTICALLY.

NOURISH CAME TO LIFE WHEN I WAS IN THE DEPTH OF MY ILLNESS AND DESPERATELY CRAVED A PLACE LIKE NOURISH. SOMEWHERE I COULD GO TO HEAL, SOMEWHERE THAT USED QUALITY ORGANIC INGREDIENTS, AND COULD HAPPILY WORK AROUND ALL MY FOOD SENSITIVITIES. NOURISH ISN’T JUST A PASSION PROJECT FOR ME, IT’S PERSONAL. After going through my own health journey and reversing autoimmune and over coming weight issues with changing my diet, I realized how much food is medicine. So I curated and crafted all organic, cold pressed juice to heal the body, mind and spirit. We also serve all organic, gluten and dairy free items, herbal medicine and non toxic supplements

Where do you think you get most of your clients from?

Social Media. For us We make sure to curate product like our smoothie bowls and beautifully labeled juices so people want to instagram is and tag us in it. Also, we have reached out to social media influencers in the wellness realm and offered credits to the cafe in change with tagging our business.
