Alright, Aliyah thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. We’d love to hear about a project that you’ve worked on that’s meant a lot to you.

My first vendor event meant a lot to me and was one of the first projects I put my all into. It was happening on my birthday which made it all better but also occurring at a local market my mother had taken me to frequently as a child. She was also there with me as help so it was super encouraging and a real full circle moment that we could experience it together while being able to connect to the community and share the products I created.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.

I am Aliyah the Lvlywtch a spiritual practitioner and intuitive alchemist who handcrafts candles, wax melts and molds, and other divination tools, offer divination services like tarot, and astrology readings with monthly consultations and rituals.

The premise behind my business is to make the mundane magical, providing insight and divine advice to give you the knowledge and clarity to see life from a new perspective. I decided to take my spiritual practice and transform it into a business model because I believe we have certain talents and gift that don’t necessarily get touched or unlocked due to our current society set up. I have learned and trained to use my skills to break the mold constructed around our minds to seek pleasures and knowledge that are in alignment with our soul.

Throughout my young adult years and early twenties I’ve been faced with several conflicts and situations that forced me to think outside the box and believe not just in a higher power but a power within myself that I can achieve anything and make a way out of no way I don’t need a match to spark a flame my existence is the fire itself.

If someone was to ask me the 3 Pillars of my business it would be Service of the soul, Connection on a 3d and 5d level, and Physical manifestation. I operate with integrity and honesty but also drive myself on making sure all my customers and clients do what feels right to them, can build or be connected to their soul family in reality and in the spiritual realm along with having a vessel or items to use as totems and generators for their energy so that the work doesn’t have to depend on the energy of the human body,

In the recent wave of hackers, scammers, and spammers, I’ve fallen victim to my personal and professional account being targeted multiple time for financial attempts but also the fact that I was doing something “trendy”. I even had private information leaked and feared that when others saw what happened that would dampen my reputation I wanted to delete everything I could and never return but in reality once news broke on my feed I had seen the power of my community really pull through and within hours my accounts had been reported and block that one was even deleted I was sad to loose the page but I gained even more followers and support through the damage.

What’s a lesson you had to unlearn and what’s the backstory?

Being a self funded business I use what I can from my 9-5 to create and live my dreams but that dependency can led to chase a number. Late winter of last year I got caught up in a numbers game which led to job hopping for a few months even though my pockets stayed full I never had time to enjoy the fruit of my labor and I was thrown into multiple environments where my value was challenged and demeaned based on my skin color or gender. I had to take a moment and sit with myself to see if it was all worth it, Ultimately I decided to get away from the abuse and toxicity of power within companies to a more small scale retail setting so I can enjoy my free time and also feel like a person of value beside a number in the system.
