Alix, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. One of the things we most admire about small businesses is their ability to diverge from the corporate/industry standard. Is there something that you or your brand do that differs from the industry standard? We’d love to hear about it as well as any stories you might have that illustrate how or why this difference matters.

I market myself as an artist that only does beats, which is unlike any other producer I know. It has yielded different results for sure

I learned how to make beats in high school & I was dared by my younger brother who recently passed away to seek it as a career path. I haven’t stopped ever since! I’ve been doing it now for over a decade professionally

Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?

I’ve had multiple hard drives fail on me, and every time I felt like quitting I either figured out how to fix my computer or found an alternative method to make beats and pay for a new laptop

Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?

Just constantly sharing my journey from beginning to today. I’ve always kept my followers in the loop and also gave them an insight on the music I’m working on now!
