Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Alison Wellington . We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Alison , thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today How do you think about vacations as a business owner? Do you take them and if so, how? If you don’t, why not?
I take at a least three vacations a year and I make it a priority. Vacationing is what I look forward in life so it’s a must and a part of the reason I work so hard. Also I use the vacation as a marketing method as well.
As a relationship coach in a happily marriage with a beautiful baby, going on vacation is the icing on the cake for content.
Alison , love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

Have you ever had to pivot?
I am pivoting right now! I am currently coaching but would prefer to be a professional speaker. Coaching requires so much if my evenings and weekends with meetings and content creation during the day.
Instead, I’d rather have my weekdays to myself working weekends and having more impact to larger crowds in one shot.
How did you build your audience on social media?
Building my social media is probably my biggest success. I hired a coach and did what she told me to do what she told me to do was go live as frequently as I can at least 2 to 3 times a week.
Go live with other people so that I have access to their audience.
post as many times per day as I can preferably 3 to 5 times a day.
Make sure to incorporate in my stories as “background information” about myself so that I can build a like, know and trust factor with my audience who will be more inclined to purchase once they felt comfortable that they knew me enough to trust me.
Also reposting other peoples content, making sure to give them credit if someone else has created an amazing piece of content. It doesn’t make any sense to try to re-create the wheel, Repost. You tag them, and then you engage in conversation with your audience around it.
My last piece of advice is being in the comments, responding to people. If they’re in agreement with you you think them and you expand on their idea if possible if you are a disagreement with them which that’s the best contact because it really generates lots of commentary and shares, then respectfully share why when people see that you are responsive, there more inclined to respond.
The more comments you have, the algorithm will push your content out more frequently.
