We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Aline Fenelon a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Aline, appreciate you joining us today. Can you talk to us about serving the underserved.

My name is Aline Fenelon, CEO of Aline Inspirations LLC. I have served and volunteered in the Central Florida community for over 12 years. BASE Camp Children’s Foundation provides a year-round base of support for children and families who are facing the day-to-day challenge of living with cancer and other life threatening hematological illnesses.

I was introduced to BASE Camp, when I started serving as a communitee board member on Heissam Jebailey, I’m In. Events. BASE Camp is a local charity that has been serving Central Florida for 40 years. This charity matters to me due to the fact that I personally have had friends and family members die from cancer. Since BASE Camp is a local charity and not national charity, most of their funding comes from volunteers, donations and local business.

I have personally volunteered at the Arnold Palmer Hospital delivering meals to the cancer patients hospital rooms and various fundraiser events.

This year was extremely special. Heissam Jebailey was producing his 13th Annual Black and White Weekend event benefiting BASE Camp for their year round programming. At the same time I donated a custom made black and white weekend dress called, “ Honorary tribute dress”.

The Honorary tribute dress started off with a dream and I sketched out the dress and found a semistess to bring the dress to display. After 9 years of attending and being in the communitee for Black and White Weekend, this year would be the hardest not to be able to attend in the fresh. Great news I became a mother of our first child on May 3, 2023. His name is Alton Fenelon Johnson. As I am recovering from natural birth, the custom dress and my spirit will be displayed next to the BASE Camp table on May 20, 2023.

The Black and White dress stayed within the Black and White Weekend theme. The Top of the dress was draped in a tulle style with a black roses lace print design. The waist line had a black silk ribbon turned into a ribbon. The bottom of the dress is made with a 5 inches Black and White quilted checkered pattern.
Within the white squares are iron on pictures of Heissam Jebailey, Terri Jones Robbins, Cindy Crespo-Whitaker, Rachel Perez, Jim Weinberg, Betty Miller, Samuel J. Merrill Sr., Emma McDonald, Sandra Mantellini, Diane Turner, Juana Cristina Lugo BASE Camp Childrens and Family and many more loved ones.

My name is Aline Fenelon I am the CEO and owner of Aline Inspirations LLC. I am a professional organizer. I organize just about anything from a jewelry room, storage unit, garages, kids rooms, bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, living room, home offices, teachers classrooms and many more.

What sets me apart from other organizers are that I meet the clients organizing goals by implementing an action plan to keep the tidiness clean and clutter free. Have you ever had to pivot?

I had started up my business, Aline Inspirations LLC in August 2019. Right at the peek of my business covid-19 happened and I had to pivot my face to face interactions with my clients to organizing via Zoom consultations.

What’s been the most effective strategy for growing your clientele?

The best effective strategy I have found to grow my clientele were the networking events and word of mouth from family and friends.
