Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Alina Cirstea. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Alina, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Learning the craft is often a unique journey from every creative – we’d love to hear about your journey and if knowing what you know now, you would have done anything differently to speed up the learning process.
I really learned a lot through practice and YouTube tutorials. Cliche, but patience is the biggest part of the process for sure. Also making sure to never ever stop learning is so important; there is always room for improvement in some way.
Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers
I started photographing and editing on apps since I was very young; the arts have always been part of my journey. As creatives, we create experiences for people. We enhance living: music, dance, visual arts– so crucial to our lives. I am most proud of being able to remain true to my craft and myself; I gain inspiration from but have never set out to copy anyone else. I am here to create photos and an experience that you will always love looking back on.
What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?
The most rewarding part about working in the creative industry has to be the people. There is just something about being in one room with so many different masterminds that instills new values and work ethic for oneself.
Are there any resources you wish you knew about earlier in your creative journey?
I really wish I had known about ways to connect with more local creatives; I feel as though I have connected with so many people now.
