We were lucky to catch up with Alicia Schroeder recently and have shared our conversation below.

Alicia , appreciate you joining us today. Let’s kick things off with your mission – what is it and what’s the story behind why it’s your mission?

My mission is to create one-of-a-kind trips that are truly worth using your precious PTO. Whether it’s a quick weekend getaway or an extended vacation, it’s meaningful to me to craft experiences that are not only memorable but also impactful. I believe that every trip, no matter how big or small, should leave a lasting impression—full of moments you’ll cherish for a lifetime. By taking the stress of planning off your plate, I aim to give you the opportunity to simply enjoy the adventure and make the most of your time away.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.

My name is Alicia and I am a travel enthusiast! I am a military spouse who decided to that travel does not need to be as complicated! I know that taking PTO is a BIG deal. So Biggest Little Travel was born! I wanted to create a way that family’s, couples, singles and more can reach out to have their ideas turn into a trip of a lifetime! My favorite part of Biggest Little Travels is that creating itineraries and trips cost nothing for my clients. The is advising to ensure you are getting a trip planned perfectly! I have had to jump through many hoops to get to this point. We all know Covid did not help us much! I want to create a platform where people can share travel stories, share travel products and find the best solutions to everyday travel problems. My brand is something I love to share and I am here to answer any questions at anytime! Travel is consistently changing and evolving in front of us. Each time we go to the airport there is a new rule or regulation! I am here to cut the stress to and ensure you have the best travel possible!

Where do you think you get most of your clients from?

The best source of new clients comes from good old Instagram and the Biggest Little Travels travel page! These platforms have created a space where clients can share stories, find travel products, and fun information on places to go! I love being able to share on instagram to give real time information and tips for clients!

Can you tell us about a time you’ve had to pivot?

My husband is active duty military so pivoting and change is a constant in my life! I wanted to create something that can be a constant in my life! Moving away from family and friends I wanted to have a place where I can communicate and share stories with other fellow travelers! I am about 2 months away from getting my Masters in Public Health. My educational journey and personal journeys have been changing so as I move around I have had to change my career paths. I wanted something that was my constant!
