We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Ali Valentine. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Ali below.
Alright, Ali thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. We’d love to hear about the things you feel your parents did right and how those things have impacted your career and life.
Growing up, my parents were my number one supporters. From a young age, I was able to mimic tunes and memorize lyrics. My parents noticed my musical flair and fed my passion with toy instruments. Even though my dad had crazy work hours, he’d still squeeze in time to drive me to my voice lessons, week in and week out.
Their message was simple: never give up and keep going. Their support wasn’t just about music; it was a life lesson in persistence and determination. I owe them everything for shaping not just my musical journey, but also my never-give-up attitude. I’m so lucky to have parents who believed in me, even when I doubted myself.
Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I create music that resonates with people of all ages and backgrounds. I believe in breaking free from the confines of the familiar, exploring the uncharted waters where old meets new.
Growing up, I couldn’t stand being alone. I craved connection and believed in the magic of having the right people around me. Surrounding yourself with good, supportive people was essential. I saw music as the universal language that could bring people together. This belief still holds true today. My shows? Well, they’re like a big family reunion.
They are portals to diverse worlds where fresh faces blend seamlessly with the familiar ones. My ultimate multi-verse. It’s a reminder that in the realm of music, we can all coexist, no matter where we come from. Transcending barriers and relishing the beauty of shared experiences.
What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?
I genuinely enjoy finding inspiration in everyday moments—it could be a conversation, a song, or even a random encounter. But what truly feels goo is being able to share that enthusiasm and inspire others. It can feel more than just a passion. There’s this natural high that comes from connecting with people on a creative level, and I believe it’s in these shared moments of inspiration that we truly find our common ground.
We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
You just have to show up and play the game, even when it’s not all fun. But here’s the deal: you make it fun. It’s your chance to connect with your fans, and it’s totally up to you to get creative with it. Be authentic and be yourself. Find cool ways to connect.
