Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Ali Naglee. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Hi Ali, thanks for joining us today. We’d love to hear about the best advice you’ve ever given to a client? (Please note this response is for education/entertainment purposes only and shouldn’t be construed as advice for the reader)
The best advice I give to clients is to get clear on her values and visions. When I first begin working with a new client, I have her go through a series of exercises that help her define her priorities and vision for her life. Sometimes this is the first time my client has ever taken the time to think about her life; her wants, needs, aspirations, and goals. Because of this process, permission and time have been given for her to dig deep and dream big. This initial, fundamental step helps us set the foundation for her individualized coaching program, and helps me anchor my client back to her true priorities when problems or challenges arise. Getting clear on her values helps clients not only achieve the goals she sets at the beginning of our coaching relationship, but helps her to sustain them after we’re done working together. My clients will often tell me that they have never felt more mentally clear or fulfilled in their life, and that’s the biggest compliment a client could give me.

Ali, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
Before I became a Holistic Health Coach, I understood the frustration of feeling like there is more out there for you. As a busy mom, I understand the overwhelming feeling of not knowing where to turn to first. That’s why my mission is simple: provide my clients with the tools necessary so they feel in control of their health and happiness for when things are good and when we get thrown a curveball.
I believe “health” is a journey and is much more than just a number on the scale or the food we eat. Because of that, I provide unique and tailored health coaching programs that are designed to help women reach their health goals through a holistic approach. With my unique W.H.O.L.E Body Framework, I help you achieve and sustain your goals. Whether it’s weight loss, redefining your identity, taking back control of your habits and creating the life you want and deserve, we come up with a customized plan to fit your individual needs. We focus on all aspects of physical, mental and emotional wellbeing, and strive to create sustainable lifestyle changes to help clients reach their goals and lead a healthier life. I want women to understand they are fully capable of taking charge of their wellbeing and with personalized guidance, support and strategy I am dedicated to help you reach your fullest potential and become the best version of yourself. I want you to live your happiest and healthiest life because you are worth it. My goal is that this will be the last health program you will ever need!
In addition to private coaching, I offer seasonal 5 day resets, which are in a group coaching setting, that focus on clean eating, curbing cravings, increasing energy, better sleep and weight loss.
I also believe in reaching our younger generation during their pivotal years. I run wellness workshops for kids empowering them with the skills necessary to start building a foundation to be strong, confident, resilient, happy, and healthy as they begin to grow and experience obstacles in their own lives.

If you could go back, would you choose the same profession, specialty, etc.?
Yes, I would absolutely choose this same profession – and wish I chose it sooner! I absolutely love helping women achieve their goals, get clear on their values, shift their perspective and find fulfillment again.

Other than training/knowledge, what do you think is most helpful for succeeding in your field?
The most helpful knowledge to succeed in this field is not the school you went to or the training you had, but your own personal experience. No matter how “new” you are in this industry, you are most qualified to help the ones that are just a few steps behind you. So, don’t discount your own history because it counts – and is incredibly valuable.
Also, something that I had to get over was learning about self-promotion. I had to change my mindset on talking about what I do as being selfish. If I truly believe in my work, and that it truly makes a difference, then I would actually be selfish by keeping it to myself. It’s not easy for me still, but having that mental shift really helps me when those old beliefs start to creep back in.
Lastly, while you may believe that everyone could (and should!) benefit from your work, realizing that it may not be suitable for everyone is not only acceptable but also completely normal and incredibly empowering. This understanding allows you to focus your efforts on reaching the right audience—the people who genuinely resonate with your mission and values. Knowing this gives you the space and capacity to help those who are the perfect fit for what you offer – which will lead to more meaningful connections and a greater impact!
