Ali , appreciate you joining us today. We’d love to hear about one of the craziest things you’ve experienced in your journey so far.
In the pandemic, my journey as an entrepreneur unfolded. As the director of e-commerce for a company, when the pandemic hit and businesses shuttered, I found myself at home pondering the next steps. It dawned on me that I could leverage my diverse skill set to assist others in launching their online ventures.
With a background in photography, videography, website design, graphic design, marketing, and e-commerce, I realized I could single-handedly orchestrate an entire team. In just six months, I secured numerous projects, taking charge of all e-commerce and online business aspects for my clients. This marked the genesis of Eraser Studio (www.erasrstudio.com), a photo and video agency, and NXT Anchor (www.nxtanchor.com), a marketing, design, and creative agency.
My wife, Sanaz Mahdi, and I assumed multiple roles, collaborating seamlessly to bring incredible projects to life and, naturally, generate more revenue. Our efforts extended across diverse industries, including fashion, tobacco, smart home, and entertainment. Through dedication and adaptability, we not only weathered the storm but also thrived, turning challenges into opportunities and building a successful entrepreneurial narrative.

Hailing from the dynamic city of Tehran, Iran, I am a multidisciplinary designer, UX/UI designer and marketing manager currently immersed in the thriving ecommerce landscape of Los Angeles, California. My design journey kicked off with a BFA in graphic design, followed by an MFA that polished my skills and broadened my perspectives. Over the last two decades, I’ve dedicated myself to the dynamic realms of advertising agencies and marketing firms, concurrently serving as a professor at the design department of Tehran universities for seven years.
A strategic thinker with a penchant for the big picture, I specialize in crafting compelling narratives and solving problems that leave a meaningful impact on people’s lives. With a robust background spanning over 20 years in graphic design, my expertise encompasses diverse fields, including web and interactive design, print, motion graphics design, branding, and identity.
In 2015, I embarked on a significant journey across continents to pursue new horizons in the United States. Seeking to elevate my proficiency in User Experience Design, I successfully completed the esteemed User Experience Design course at UCLA Extension. Subsequently, my thirst for knowledge led me to the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA), where I earned an MPS in User Experience Design.
My passion is deeply rooted in the realm of User Experience Design, where I take pleasure in simplifying intricate problems and presenting them in visually appealing ways. Beyond the design sphere, my heart is captivated by pursuits such as painting, photography, and movies – integral elements that not only define my interests but also contribute to shaping my identity.
Engaging in creative discussions or embarking on new projects brings me immense joy. I am always eager to take a stroll with like-minded individuals, prepared to explore and transform ideas into reality with an enthusiastic declaration of, “Let’s do it!”

How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?
Building a strong reputation typically involves a combination of the following factors:
