We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Alexsandria Brown. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Alexsandria below.
Hi Alexsandria, thanks for joining us today. Let’s kick things off with your mission – what is it and what’s the story behind why it’s your mission?
My mission is to empower and inspire others, creating a supportive environment for them to pursue their deepest desires. I aim to foster a sense of community and unity, encouraging individuals to express themselves and truly believe they deserve the life they envision.
The journey to defining my mission began with an observation: many people feel disconnected and unheard in their daily lives. This lack of connection often leads to individuals feeling isolated, unsure, and unable to pursue what truly matters to them. I realised that creating a space where people could feel accepted and supported was crucial.
Personal experiences shaped my vision, bringing unique experiences that highlighted the importance of empowerment and inspiration. Witnessing friends, family, or even myself struggle with self-doubt and a lack of community, I understood firsthand the transformative power of support, acceptance, and encouragement.
My mission became clear: to empower and inspire others by fostering a sense of community and unity. I believe that when individuals feel part of a supportive community, they gain the confidence and courage to express themselves fully and pursue their deepest desires. I aim to create opportunities for people to connect, share their stories, and support one another in their journeys. Driven by the belief that everyone deserves to live a life they envision, where they feel heard and accepted. My mission is meaningful because it gives people the tools to find this acceptance within themselves and through a community aligned with their values. By doing so, I hope to inspire positive change and bring about a world where people are empowered to lead fulfilling lives. pursue their deepest desires because everyone truly deserves it.
As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
I am a woman of integrity, strength, and unwavering values. As an Emotional Intelligence Coach, Financial Representative, and the Founder of the Boss Bestiez Business Brunch, I am deeply committed to empowering others. Beyond my professional roles, I am a devoted wife to a loving and supportive husband, a mother to five wonderful children, and a proud dog mom.
My journey toward personal and professional fulfillment stemmed from a place of self-reflection and overcoming deep-seated insecurities. Growing up, I faced numerous challenges, including childhood trauma, the struggles of becoming a teen mother, and a persistent feeling of living in survival mode. These experiences left me uncertain about where to begin in creating the life I once believed was merely a dream.
In 2017, after heartfelt discussions with my husband and cousin about my aspirations, I took the first step toward transformation by becoming a licensed aesthetician. It was within this space—through intimate conversations with clients at Be Bare, Be Beautiful—that I discovered my true calling: helping women feel heard, accepted, and empowered. This realization ignited my passion for personal growth, leading me to read extensively, attend events alone, observe, and immerse myself in the journey of self-improvement.
As I evolved, I recognized the need for women to have access to financial literacy, opportunities for personal and professional growth, and a supportive community. This realization led me to explore Emotional Intelligence Coaching, as I saw firsthand how emotions influence our decisions. Recognizing my natural ability to analyze both positive and negative aspects of situations, I pursued certification in this field. Additionally, I was reintroduced to the transformative power of life insurance and financial literacy—understanding its significance in building generational wealth. This newfound knowledge motivated me to obtain my license and educate others on financial empowerment.
Though I initially struggled to see how these passions aligned, I knew my purpose was greater than myself. Revisiting an idea sparked in collaboration with a dear friend, I envisioned a platform where women could gather, share their experiences, and uplift one another. This vision materialized into the Boss Bestiez Business Brunch, a quarterly event designed to provide women with a space for connection, empowerment, and financial education. Partnering with my friend, an exceptional caterer, we created an environment where every woman who walks through the door feels valued, heard, and inspired.
This journey has been one of faith—faith that has led me into rooms where I belonged, despite once believing otherwise. Through the unwavering love and support of my family, my steadfast faith in God, and my relentless determination, I have built something far greater than I could have imagined. The Boss Bestiez Business Brunch, alongside my roles as a financial representative and Emotional Intelligence Coach, all stemmed from a single seed of faith planted through Be Bare, Be Beautiful. Now, that seed has blossomed into a movement, unlocking my fullest potential and allowing me to guide and uplift women who have faced challenges similar to my own.
And this is only the beginning.
Learning and unlearning are both critical parts of growth – can you share a story of a time when you had to unlearn a lesson?
I had to unlearn the belief that I wasn’t deserving.
Growing up, we had what we needed—food, clothes, and a roof over our heads—but not much more. Because that was my reality, I never thought to ask for more or even believe more was possible. I remember not having a house phone for years, and it never felt like a loss—until I got older. The first time someone asked for my number, and I had to say I didn’t have one, I noticed the way they looked at me. That was the first time I felt like I was lacking.
For so long, I believed that if God intended for me to have more, He would have simply given it to me. I often heard people say, “I’m not deserving” when receiving an abundant blessing, whether it was a dream job, a home, or financial security. And for a long time, I didn’t question it.
But as I grew, I realized something powerful—I am deserving. We all are. God’s promises include abundance, and through faith, discipline, and action, we can manifest the life we desire. I now wake up every day knowing that I am worthy of the dreams I carry. Through trials and tribulations, I’ve never truly lacked; I just hadn’t yet embraced the mindset that I deserve the best that life has to offer.
Now, I walk in that truth, knowing that through faith, obedience, and hard work, I will create a legacy—not just of wealth, but of peace, belief, and limitless possibility for generations to come.
Have you ever had to pivot?
I remember just having my youngest daughter while living in Whittier, CA. At the time, it was just us—far from family—so we made the decision to move back to Northern California for support and community. We were excited, but we had no idea how drastically our lives were about to change.
My mother-in-law, with her giving heart, welcomed our family of five into her small one-bedroom apartment while we worked to get on our feet. What we thought would be a short transition stretched into seven months. During that time, I silently battled my first experience with postpartum depression, not even realizing that’s what it was. Life felt overwhelming, and I often questioned if things would ever get better.
As my husband secured a job, we began applying for homes, only to face unexpected challenges—credit requirements, rental income minimums, and a market that felt impossible to break into. But after persistence and prayer, we finally found our home. Just as we were settling in, another life-changing decision presented itself: stepping up as full-time guardians for my husband’s two younger sisters.
Overnight, our family grew from three kids to five—a 12, 6, 4, 2, and 1-year-old under one roof. No one prepared us for the reality of blending a family so suddenly. The emotional, mental, and financial weight tested our marriage, our relationships, and our faith. It was one of the hardest transitions of our lives.
For a long time, I asked, Why me? Why us? The burden felt heavy, and the opinions of others—who had plenty to say but no real support to offer—only made it harder. But one day, I shifted my perspective and asked, Why NOT us? That mindset shift changed everything. I realized we weren’t being punished—we were being prepared. What felt like a storm was actually a divine setup for something greater.
Through this experience, I’ve seen firsthand the miracles that come from faith, resilience, and surrender. I am beyond grateful for every challenge, every lesson, and every moment that shaped me. Today, I stand tall as a wife, a mother of five incredible children, a daughter, sister, friend, and most importantly, a product of God’s grace. I now know that I am deserving—and so are they.
