Alexis, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. We’d love to go back in time and hear the story of how you came up with the name of your brand?
TRUE originated from my strong desire for people to be TRUE to themselves. It is very necessary especially in today’s society that we remain TRUE to ourselves at all times. Our individual style, thoughts, & way of life make up our very essence. TRUE is evolving into a lifestyle brand that assists the community in multiple facets of life. My current focus is on TRUEbeautique.com. TRUE beautique is a vehicle to reach both women & men to encourage them to live in their truth thru fashion & style. Texas based True Beautique is conveniently located to share truths at fashion engagements, beauty events, & pop-up shops throughout the nation in addition to the online beautique. The expectation is that True Beautique will remind True Beauties & Beaus to live in their truth with our doses of truth shared on all social media platforms and thru the company email newsletter.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
Hi I’m Alexis M. originally from Memphis, TN & currently in the Dallas-Fort Worth TX Metroplex, specifically Arlington, TX, My background is in Business Management (B.S.) & Marketing (MBA) of which by owning my business thankfully I’m able to continue to work in both areas of study. I’ve always had a passion for helping others and fashion so I figured out a way to help others thru style with TRUE Beautique. I’m committed to making apparel & accessories available that allow my TRUE Beauties & Beaus to maximize their style investments with wear EVERYwhere items. I’m most proud of the opportunities where I’m able to engage directly with my market to empower, motivate, & encourage shoppers thru style. In addition to this I continue to work full-time for a leading multinational transportation company, I’m frequently booked as talent for commercial print/acting, I manage market events & brand promotions for multiple brands, I’m a certified tax preparer with the best tax team in the DFW Metroplex licensed to cover all 50 states, and I’m also licensed to write life insurance policies which is a subject near and dear to me.

Where do you think you get most of your clients from?
The best source of new clients for me has been at pop up shop events. I thrive in brand event marketing settings where I’m able to directly educate people about my brand which increases my brand’s awareness. I love meeting my TRUE Beauties & Beaus in person & I ensure that every client encounter is a memorable brand experience.
Any thoughts, advice, or strategies you can share for fostering brand loyalty?
My method for keeping in touch with clients includes email correspondence, social media sharing plus live posts, & engaging directly at pop up shop events. No two clients are the same which is why it’s very critical to ensure multiple methods of communication are included in the mix. Understanding the market means understanding your people & your growing community.
