Hi Alexis, thanks for joining us today. We’d love to hear about a time you helped a customer really get an amazing result through their work with you.
Daisy Dunes exists to help the young-at-heart eclectics of the word embrace their sense of adventure and zest for life through colorful accessories! I’d like to share a heartfelt story from one of my customers.
Pearl ordered the “Choose Joy” Oversized Beach Tote, and I was so touched by her effort and time to explain in detail how much this item meant to her. She told me “The minute I opened this beautiful wrapped parcel, my heart “filled with joy”. Sadly, we are all children living in a world where we can struggle to be happy, constantly worried, etc! We need every possible tool available to us to lift our spirits…literally from the time our eyes open in the morning 🙏🌻💛”. Pearl went on to tell me that she kept her beautiful, joyful bag on her kitchen table for weeks so that she saw it every morning when she woke up.
Sometimes as a business owner you don’t know the full impact that a cute accessory is going to make in your customers’ lives. However, when one tells you that they’ve been going through a tough time emotionally and financially – and so every happy and joyful thought makes a difference – you remember that your dream can truly and positively impact the world. At Daisy Dunes, we’re here for the young-at-heart eclectic wanderlusts of the world who want to embrace their sense of adventure and zest for life. We know that life is about stressing less, smiling often and making an adventure out of every day. Around here we go from boring to bright, basic to exuberant, and dreary to lively – TOGETHER. Close to 5 years ago this Michigan-based boho boutique was born for the vivacious ones looking for colors and prints that matched their personality.
How do you keep in touch with clients and foster brand loyalty?
I love keeping in touch with my customers (and subscribers who aren’t yet customers!) I share new ways and reasons to use my products in my email marketing, and I share behind-the-scenes footage on social media.
Have you ever had to pivot?
About 3 years into my business, I went through a life shift and realized that my brand was not a reflection of where I was headed personally. As hard as it was to pivot, I had to make the choice to rebrand and reinvent my business name, mission, and aesthetic. It involved many steps, but now I can say that my business is a true reflection of me. It’s so important to have your heart and soul behind all aspects of your life.
