Alright, Alexandria thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Alright, so we’d love to hear about how you got your first client or customer. What’s the story?

In Spring 2020 I decided to take a Flower Essence Practitioner Program after working with Flower Essences for years and seeing what a beautiful weavings they wove through my life. When I was done with my program, in the fall, we had the opportunity to complete a certification for our program which I wanted to do. However, to do this you had to see clients and write up case studies. I wasn’t sure how I was going to do this. It’s wild though what can happen when you are following your path that is aligned to unfolding into your unique abilities and gifts. Out of no where an old high school friend texted me saying she was going through a hard time and was there anything I would recommend. It was like Spirit had brought her to me. I was hesitant to say, “Yes! Be my first Flower Essence Client!” But, It felt so serendipitous that I responded and was super transparent with her about the program I had just completed and how Flower Essences had dramatically changed my life and thought they could help her too. I was somewhat surprised when she replied that she had never heard of flower essences, but trusted me and would love to start flower sessions.

She went on to have numerous flower sessions over the next couple of years and healed so many aspects of her life. I felt very blessed to have such an amazing first client and to witness such Beauty. I am forever grateful for that beginning and it truly felt like a Gift!

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?

I remember being in middle school and my mom was cleaning out her bookshelf when she handed me a Susan Miller astrology book and told me, “You might like this.” A beautiful treasure from her days in San Francisco as a young woman. I devoured this book which sent me on a journey of the mystical and magical. I remember every time I went to Borders or Barnes and Nobles I would B line immediately to the “esoteric” section which in the 90’s was a small 3 shelf space. I would sit right there on the carpeted floor and read through every astrology book…

Fast forward having married my college sweetheart, achieved a Graduate Degree as a First Gen Student, had 2 magical children, and was working at a University as the Assistant Director of Student Disability Services . I was still very much in the “magical” realms, but it was still just a hobby. But then in 2017 I was initiated or what felt more like full on catapulted across a threshold where in an instant I realized I yearned for something that not many people around me yearned for. I wanted to be at home with my kids. Full Stop.

Within two weeks my husband and I had given our two weeks notices to our almost decade long careers that we thought we would “retire” from. We moved closer to family and amongst all this transition darkness set in ~ was this going to actually be possible?

I knew I needed help to get through this transition and someone to talk to ~ to help me hold my Heart Vision, but being the innovative woman that I am I knew I needed innovative help. I had already started working with flower essences and had even taken two home study courses. I quickly looked up one of my home study flower essences teachers I knew to see if she took 1:1 clients. She did! However, her price point was too high for me at the time so I looked to see if there were any graduates of her program. There were! This led me down one of the most beautiful and transformative journeys of working with a Flower Essence Practitioner every month for 2 years.

I had such powerful transformation I realized this is what I wanted to do! I wanted to become a Flower Essence Practitioner! I felt as if I was returning home to something I had always known. And so I began my journey of continuing to unfold into my gifts and which lead me to open my own Flower Practice ~ My Grandmother’s Flowers LLC.

You are probably wondering ~ What are flower essences? Well Flower Essences are vibrational remedies that can be taken under the tongue or in a spray that you can spray over yourself. They do not have any scent or physical matter of the flowers. They affect your energy system and are considered safe for all ages and even animals! It is a beautiful modality that I find acts like a holographic recipe to weave Beauty into your life. They hold all these codes of Flowers and every flower has a remedy and gift it is just wanting to help you bloom in your life. There truly are no words ~ just as words do not do the sun setting with a beautiful lavender haze sky any justice. There are no words that truly do them any justice.

We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.

Truthfully I feel everyday my journey illustrates resilience. Not only am I running my own business, but my business is also my calling here on this earth. In addition I am a mama to two magical children that I also homeschool. This path I am walking is not for the faint of heart. I can sometimes feel I am on a lightening path highway and other times literally living out a fairytale. One thing I know for sure is I am always growing and naturally emerging into my next iteration of myself. Currently I am loving and leaning into the Law of Emergence and the 80/20 Principle. What will I be doing next week ~ next year? Who knows, but I know my Illuminated Heart will continue to light the way.

Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?

I am currently only word of mouth and I love this because it allows this embodiment of people who know me and have worked with me to then transmit the Beauty of the Flower Essences and the work that I offer. My authentic network in essence builds my reputation.
