Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Alexandria Reeds-Marks. (Newlywed). We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Alright, Alexandria thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. If you’re open to it, can you talk to us about the best (or worst) investment you’ve made. What’s the backstory and the relevant context behind why you made the investment?
Good question! I can speak highly of my best investment. Which is my Pink and Purple Fairy Van. I started this business three years ago using my personal vehicle. I had a white Ford Focus I did business out of. I had a small magnet on the side of my driver door. Cars could hardly even see it lol. But starting off that’s what I could afford . I had my Business name and phone number on it. I traveled all over DFW in this vehicle. Getting every client that contacted me. Underpaid just trying to make it. Things changed last year. I ended up getting business through Texas Family Protective Services, Features in Dallas Weekly, I was interviewed on 97.9 the beat radio, I got commercial clients, and kept steady booking with residential clients. The brilliant idea of getting a company vehicle changed things for me. I found a white small van and purchased it cash and had it wrapped with company colors purple and pink and of course had my black girl magic fairy image placed on it.(my logo) this van has became a local superstar on its own. Clients and friends post my van on social media when it’s spotted on the road headed to work, I get calls all the time while I’m traffic with my business number being on the back of the van it’s just so convenient. It has a QR code as well that leads to my Google page Alexandrias organizing and cleaning. Featuring my 50+ five star reviews, photos and much more! This van has made me a proud business owner and it’s a lot of fun being my own company and putting some fun with it.
Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers?

My business has been consistent and booked since my second year. I believe being consistent with give you back consistent clients. I’m constantly digging for more knowledge and strive for perfection. Based on my feedback on my social media Alexandrias Cleaning, and my Google listing Alexandrias organizing and Cleaning. This business has grown and has made many smile. From the vibe and smiles I bring to your home or business. As well as my neat and tidy work.
How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?
I’m positive word of mouth grew Alexandrias Organizing and Cleaning. The things people say, my tags on Social Media almost bring me to tears sometimes. So many people believe in me. I would’ve never thought. I would say 75% of my business is word of mouth.
God is good
We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
I would say good before and after pictures changed the game and I now see why. When I didn’t know better I would take photos of my completed work and people would comment ( POST A BEFORE PICTURE ALEX) I started doing that and and getting good lighting and angles etc. I got a lot of feedback that way. Callers would say”I want my home to look like the before and after photos you posted”. Things like that….
