We were lucky to catch up with Alexandra Caster recently and have shared our conversation below.
Alexandra, appreciate you joining us today. Let’s jump to the end – what do you want to be remembered for?
The world we live in can be crazy, scary, and not always kind. I believe that it is our job to make the world a better place – by doing good in the world, raising better humans, and being kind to others.
I believe that kindness costs nothing and we should spread it around freely. I hope that people remember for my heart and that I can leave a legacy of kindness.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
My love affair with photography started my junior year of high school. I fell in love with photography the moment I picked up a film camera. Shooting film eventually lead me to pursue a Bachelor of Fine Art in Creative Photography from Cal State University Fullerton. My sister-in-law let me tag along on a wedding in 2013 and haven’t looked back. I focus on couples – proposal, engagements, elopements, and weddings.
My couples happiness is my ultimate goal. I will help be a counselor when stress arises on their wedding day, feed you snacks, and but most importantly, be your biggest cheerleader and supporter. Being in the industry for over ten years, I try to bring in a positive and calming energy to help you feel at ease!
My favorite part about photography is capturing the little in-between moments. I feel that these are the most real and authentic. The soft kisses between poses, the sweet whispers, and the uncontrollable laughter are the moments I live for! My goal is to capture your personality in my work, grow authentic connections, and timeless imagery.

What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?
There is nothing more rewarding to me then when a client returns and tells me how much they cherish the photos and feels as if they are reliving that moment all over again.

What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?
As a photographer, I have a privilege of freezing time for my clients. I want them to look back on their images in 50+ years and have timeless images that take them back to that moment. I want them to feel like themselves and seen.
