Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Alexander The Don. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Alexander, appreciate you joining us today. We’d love to hear about when you first realized that you wanted to pursue a creative path professionally.

When I was younger I fell in love with the creation of music. My cousins and I used to create all day and night. We would freestyle and write music to all the newest records out. I decided to take music and this career path serious once I graduated high school. I started college for a little while then decided I wanted to be really serious with music it took a few years for me to really understand the music industry while pursuing music I’ve grown as a man and got married and had children. After my first child is really when I started to get into social media influencing due to my wife pursuing being a full time YouTuber and doing family vlogs. We pretty much grew as a family on YouTube and then started to get into tiktok and Instagram reels and other platforms.

Alexander, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

What really set me off into the music industry is when I went on my first tour. It was a double tour starting off with a few local artist in Miami then I went off to the Midwest and did a tour with Montana of 300. It was my first tour so there were a lot of things that came my way that I wasn’t ready for. But due to me being so resilient and dedicated to my craft I didn’t let anything set me back. I would adjust on the fly and keep pushing. It ended up being a really great tour and experience. I met a lot of amazing people on my first tour and learned a lot.

How did you build your audience on social media?

My audience has been built on many different projects. It started with music, music is always the backbone for me. A lot of my audience came from 2 of my biggest singles “Big Flex” and “Don’t Cry” after releasing those records I started to gain a following and people were tuning into the music. Once I started dabbling into Instagram reels my Instagram page started to get a lot of attention and I started to get a lot more followers.

What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?

The most rewarding aspect would most definitely be the people that you touch with your creativity. There has been a few instances where I would get a DM from someone who supports my music with them saying my song really meant something to them or my song got them through a situation. I got a lot of those messages with my song “don’t cry”.
