We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Alexander Hunter . We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Alexander below.
Alright, Alexander thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Let’s start with important influences in our lives. Is there a historical figure you look up to?
The historical figure that I have learned from has been AG Gaston. There is a great book on him called The Black Titan. I learned that you have to keep improving every year and that you need to think about the infrastructure around initiatives and solutions because that will determine whether those initiatives or solutions are successful. Also that you have to lead with strategy and not emotion.
Alexander , before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
I DJ and create graphics under the name of Everything is a Racket. I think what sets me apart is that I want to create an environment where people can have a great time and not feel like they are being judged for having a great time. I am really proud of my mixes and will be releasing some different ones with some unique marketing shortly, so lookout for that.

We’d love to hear your thoughts on NFTs. (Note: this is for education/entertainment purposes only, readers should not construe this as advice
I believe the crypto market is having a hard time right now because of the market conditions but I believe NFTs will specifically change the collectibles market and loyalty programs. Imagine being an NFT holder for an event and you get constant benefits because you were an early adopter. It incentives users in an unique way.
Learning and unlearning are both critical parts of growth – can you share a story of a time when you had to unlearn a lesson?
That business is just business. There are emotions, perspectives and sweat equity associated with someone’s business. So keep that in mind when you are having conversations or talking with people regarding business dealings or projects because no one wants to do business with a jerk or someone that does not value their energy and time. Another lesson is not to take the word “no” to heart. You will hear way more “no”s then yeses so keep that in mind.
