One of my most fulfilling experiences as a stylist was working with a postpartum mom who came to me feeling disconnected from her body and unsure of her style in this new phase of her life. She was navigating a new identity as a mother while trying to rediscover herself after the physical and emotional changes that came with childbirth.

Our goal wasn’t just about finding clothes that fit her; it was about helping her reconnect with her confidence and sense of self. We spent time discussing her lifestyle, what she felt comfortable in, and where she wanted to play with her style a little more. I focused on creating looks that celebrated her new body, emphasizing her strength and the beauty of where she was now, rather than trying to “get back” to where she was before.

Seeing her light up in outfits that made her feel both stylish and herself again was incredibly rewarding. By the end of our sessions, she not only had a wardrobe that worked for her current needs but also a renewed sense of who she was, both as a mom and as an individual.
