We were lucky to catch up with Alex Givens recently and have shared our conversation below.

Alex , thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today So let’s jump to your mission – what’s the backstory behind how you developed the mission that drives your brand?

The story behind my mission is to be successful and be great in anything, and everything that I set my mind to. I always had a drive to be more than what people thought I was capable of, and I also had family and friends that were around me who help me understand that I can do all of these things. So now that I’m in the process of greatness, I can now see a pathway of successfulness in my life and also the people around me and ironically now that is my mission on top of my go to Mission.

Alex , before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?

I got into this industry looking for a new career besides a regular 9 to 5 job that will be fun for me and also who I serve. and I came across a Hawaiian shaved ice business. When I notice I have family members in in Puerto Rico that does it as well and make a living off of it. So I asked some of my grandparents did they like the idea and they loved it because at their age they still eat them, so I thought it was a no-brainer to start an industry of shaved ice. So they taught me the original in real way how to make Hawaiian shaved ice without the chunky ice, but the fluffy snow light kind. After I understood how to make the original shaved ice it was all up for me from there to set out brand myself and promote my product as well as my services to everyone and in the recent year of opening I done great with friends families associates I got a many birthday parties partnerships recommendations More than I can ask for so now it’s just disciplining myself to stay on track of finances, supplies, clients, and much more. It comes with his hardships, but that’s with every job, business or career that you attempt to go after, but I am appreciative of what what I have done and I am happy with where I’m going with this business

Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?

God help me a lot with staying strong and firm and my decisions of being a entrepreneur and what he has done for me so far bring me here He’s been a light for my business and as well as for me and I will continue fighting through until I see what I’ve been fighting for

What’s a lesson you had to unlearn and what’s the backstory?

I learn patience. I learned how to stay has strong with who you are and what do you have to offer it to people some people will try to lowball or Not. Give you a worth
