Alex, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. To kick things off, we’d love to hear about things you or your brand do that diverge from the industry standard
One of the things we do differently is the things we charge for. Many other companies in this industry charge their clients for almost everything, whether it be a simple question, a copy of their file, or just to read a document they don’t understand. In our office we value our clients and we can offer those services at no additional costs, we want our clients to feel comfortable when picking up the phone and calling us with any questions or concerns and our clients have expressed their satisfaction with our services because they feel that we are always there for them no matter what situation they’re experiencing. We want our clients to ask as many questions as they need to better understand the problem they are facing. There are probably other companies that are like us and that is very rare to find but we are definitely doing things differently from the industry standard.
Alex, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
The opportunity to get into tax preparation came by when I was offered a job at a tax preparation agency. They had put me on a 2 week trial and as I was working with them I was learning an entire new trait in tax preparation. During those two weeks I fell in love with the job and I wanted to continue learning so I focused on understanding tax law and tax preparation. After years of doing taxes I felt that I needed to do more and I went to college to get into business management to gain knowledge in different areas as my dreams had changed into opening my own tax agency. Our agency is continuing to grow and we do more than tax services. We currently also offer services for business formations, Federal Identification Numbers (ITIN), Notary Public Services. We are working into expanding our agency to do more finance services. We are proud of our commitment and dedication to our customers needs and we are always looking for ways to exceed their expectations.
We want our customers to know that we will always be there for them when they need us, whether it be for taxes, notary or business.
Any thoughts, advice, or strategies you can share for fostering brand loyalty?
Our agency is completely automated and we stay connected with our clients through newsletters, birthday cards, and we provide small gifts with our company logo to our clients every time they file their taxes with us. We also provide our clients with informational letters that are included in their copies for them to read. Keeping our clients informed is very important to us and we do everything we can to ensure our customers know we are there to help them.
What’s been the most effective strategy for growing your clientele?
Being there for our clients when they need us the most has been very effective. The referrals continue to come by satisfied customers because they want their family members and friends to get the same service they receive from us. The most effective strategy for any business to succeed is to provide the best customer service because that on it’s own guarantees that customers will continue to come.
