We were lucky to catch up with Aleta Turner recently and have shared our conversation below.
Aleta, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today We’d love to go back in time and hear the story of how you came up with the name of your brand?
Ale’ta & Allan, LLC was started in October 2015. During the pandemic, my husband Glenn and I worked together to rebrand our business. Sharing the importance of covenant, love and fellowship are our business values and they have never changed. Built To Rock Events was a name that we came to after completing a branding workbook from consultant, Tech with Tasha. The repeated themes that continued to stand out to us during the branding process included building a strong foundation for marriages, defining covenant, and having fun in a couples community for individuals at different relationship stages.
Built To Rock Events has a ring to it. Most of our clients, just say “Built To Rock.”
Our brand speaks for itself. We are trustworthy, provide excellent service and build lasting relationships with those we have the honor of serving as clients.

Hello, my name is Aleta Turner. I am an Events & Marketing Strategist serving businesses, consultants, nonprofits and startups through my business, Built To Rock Events.
Built To Rock Events is an events management firm specializing in event planning, graphic design and website management. Within the past year, I have added on 3D laser printing services such as personalized engraved wood, paper cutting and acrylic drink stirrer and drink tag products to elevate guests’ experiences at weddings and special events.
I truly believe in leveraging my 13 years of event planning and digital marketing expertise to help my clients achieve measurable outcomes. Not every event planner can design marketing materials, manage your website and manage your event from beginning to end. That’s what makes Built To Rock Events different than others in the marketplace!
Where do you think you get most of your clients from?
Word-of-mouth is the best referral and that’s been the best source of new clients us.
What’s been the most effective strategy for growing your clientele?
I believe that showing up authentically on social media and maintaining my own personal brand offline is the most effective strategy for growing clientele. This year, I invested in brand photography with Niara Carnes of Nia Photography and it has paid off tremendously. Maintaining a digital marketing campaign for my business and for my own personal brand has led to new opportunities and collaborations.
