We were lucky to catch up with Alessandro Meynardi recently and have shared our conversation below.
Alessandro , looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Earning a full time living from one’s creative career can be incredibly difficult. Have you been able to do so and if so, can you share some of the key parts of your journey and any important advice or lessons that might help creatives who haven’t been able to yet?
Came from Italy to study at Berklee College of Music in Boston. Moved to LA in 2020 during pandemic. Working as performer and producer, owner of Studio Thunderpetz in North Hollywood and Diamond Thunder Publishing

Alessandro , before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
Music industry today requires a level of preparation way higher than watt people can expect, or even imagine. I decided to follow the path of original music, so I always take part of projects and productions, where I can express my creativity at high degrees. Weather is for my personal music as AM Dandy (myself ) or the band Thunderpetz, or for other artists . It was not easy at the beginning, especially due to the pandemic, but it is becoming easier and easier to this day korma and of course always exciting. I think having the opportunity to fully express my creativity at work it is one of the most remarkable thinks of my life.

For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?
Being able to be creative constantly. Or better, it needs me to be creative. Overall, being able to make your passion your job is a bless. Even though you get to discover also the less pleasant sides of the discipline, it’s still what you love to do. Make your passion your job and you’ll never work it’s a bit generic but fundamentally true quote
Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?
Creating art and make people or memories immortal and known to the listeners. I’m very fascinated but the fact that through art you can turn someone or something into a forever element. Consider the music that gifted persons or facts or memories with immortality! Not just in music but generally in art. Imagine Leonardo’s Monnalisa, that individual is immortal. And made immortal the crafter (or at least it contributed, in this specific case).
Overall the idea of enriching the world with some new art constantly is definitely something very sweet and romantic (artistically speaking) as well.
Ultimately, to be completely honest: ambitions and recognition. Who doesn’t like to be esteemed for her/his own art?
