We were lucky to catch up with Alessandro Folchitto recently and have shared our conversation below.
Alessandro, appreciate you joining us today. Let’s jump into the story of starting your own firm – what should we know?
Good morning , My Usa story start from this. When I was in the Italian special forces “9th t Col Moschin “ deployed in Afganistan , thanks to some connection I met Bobby Vasquez , a former USA green beret. Mr Vasquez at that time was the President of the Local 479 Movie studio mechanics ( the biggest union for movie crew in USA ) And the owner of the East Cost Film, a company that provide special effect for movies. He sponsored me with an H1 visa and I came to work in USA. I started to work for him for 2 years and I did 7 movies for him ,in the meantime more and more people ask me to work for other company thanks to my Special forces background and the application of this skill in the movie business .
Then my career skyrocket. Thanks to the unique combination in Atlanta and probably the south west of my special forces background and my special effect expertise and behind the camera work, Multi million dollars movies production start to hire me a technical/military advisor and I was able to contribute with my knowledge to the success of movie that made hundreds of million of dollar in Usa market and worldwide. Then the stunt world come in to place , since that was a huge need of actually stunt performer with real tactical background and so I was hired to cover the section of the movie business allow me to work in more than 90 productions. At that moment I was a part of a huge gear that was bringing in the state of Georgia almost 8 billion dollars a year.
At that point another step come into my career when directors and producer start to put me more in front of the camera thanks to my tactical skill and my Italian accent…. and so my acting career explode , with multiple role in Movies like Insurgent , hunger games MacGiver, Red notice just to mention a few.
I am now casted with a major role in a movie that will be hired next year.
As we speak a tv series create by A director/ writer Bill Hillman about a family that is fighting crimes named “The Moretti” inspired but true event with me as main role is finished the pilot and is ready to go green light for the seasons

As I mentioned before my background of special forces helped me out to compete in that crazy movie/tv business
Me and my company “Action Atl “we are focused on provide the best action possible and more realistic than ever especially in the tactical world
We are right not working on several projects and we are very excited for those opportunities
As and actor my Italian heritage is always a good asset to have and with my dialect and acting coach I am now able to book more American types role
While I am keep striving for success, i love to surrounded by great people and amazing team !

When I come here in USA after a nice start , I lost Everything.. my sponsor.. my mother … and was left alone in one of the most competitive business.. So I started from scratch using the only thing that was left … my resilience and after tears and pain , my opportunity knocked and I grabbed With all the strength that was left in my … the rest is history
