We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Aleksandra Badea a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Aleksandra, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today So let’s jump to your mission – what’s the backstory behind how you developed the mission that drives your brand?
At Systems in Place, our mission is all about helping business owners – especially coaches, creatives, and agency owners – streamline, organize, and automate their businesses. This mission means a lot to me because I see so many people struggling and sacrificing their personal lives and health just to keep up with work.
When I worked at an American startup, I was constantly overwhelmed by the workload. I quickly realized that the only way to manage was to find more efficient solutions. That’s when I discovered my passion for systems and automation. I saw how much easier life could be with the right processes in place.
As a wife and mum of a super active three-year-old, I know how valuable time and freedom are. I want to help others reclaim their time so they can focus on what they love—whether it’s growing their business, spending time with family, or simply taking a well-deserved break.
Too many talented business owners burn out because they’re stuck in the grind, sacrificing their well-being for their business. Our mission isn’t just about setting up systems. It’s all about creating a life where business owners can thrive without feeling chained to their desks. It’s about making work support your life, not the other way around. That’s what drives us every day at Systems in Place.

Aleksandra, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
I’m Aleksandra Badea, the founder of Systems in Place. I’m a Systems Strategist and Certified Online Business Manager, and I absolutely love helping business owners streamline, organize, and automate their businesses.
My journey into this industry began when I left my corporate job in finance to join a startup. There were always more tasks to do than time to do them, which pushed me to find more efficient solutions. This sparked my passion for systems and processes, and I saw the incredible potential to make our business and lives more efficient. That’s when I decided to help others do the same.
At Systems in Place, we specialize in helping coaches, creatives, and agency owners optimize their operations. We offer a range of services, from business assessments and strategic planning to full implementation of systems and automation. One of our standout offerings is the “Get Back Your Time and Grow Your Business in 90 Days” program. This program is designed to identify inefficiencies, streamline processes, and implement automation, providing clients with a solid framework to scale their business and reclaim their time.
What sets us apart is our personalized approach. We don’t believe in one-size-fits-all solutions. Instead, we take the time to understand each client’s unique needs, goals, and challenges. Then we create and implement custom-made strategies. Our goal is to make things as simple and stress-free as possible for our clients.
I’m particularly proud of seeing the transformation in my clients’ businesses and lives. For example, I recently helped a client prepare for a two-week vacation in the Maldives in the first two weeks of working together. By setting up systems and automations, she was able to enjoy her holiday without worrying about work. Seeing clients reclaim their time and achieve a better work-life balance is amazing!
Systems in Place is all about creating a life where your business supports you, not the other way around. With the right systems in place, you can have more time, more freedom, and more success.

What’s been the most effective strategy for growing your clientele?
I’ve found that the best way to succeed is by really getting to know people. Building real connections and understanding their specific challenges has been crucial for me. Many of my clients come from referrals, which shows that they trust and appreciate the value I offer.
Also, I’ve had success reaching potential clients by having meaningful chats on LinkedIn and Facebook groups. These platforms let me share my insights, give advice, and connect with business owners who want to make their operations more efficient.

How do you keep your team’s morale high?
Remembering a few things can really make a difference when it comes to leading a team and keeping morale up. It’s all about empowering, trusting, and being transparent with your team, having clear systems and processes, and setting clear expectations.
When your team feels trusted and valued, they’re more motivated and engaged. They need to have the freedom to make decisions and take ownership of their work to boost their confidence and sense of responsibility.
Clear systems and processes reduce confusion and make everything run smoother. Transparency about goals, challenges, and expectations helps the team feel connected and committed. Setting clear goals and KPIs from the start gives your team a roadmap to success and helps them track their progress.
By doing all this, you can create a positive and productive work environment that keeps morale high and drives success.
