We recently connected with Alejandro Cuesta and have shared our conversation below.
Alejandro , thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Did you always know you wanted to pursue a creative or artistic career? When did you first know?
I knew I wanted to become an artist as soon I got the real feel of music when I played the baratone for elementary. Groing up in Newark, New jersey was no easy task which influenced my lyrics a lot.
As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
My mission is to get the best possible sound and lyrics together so that the person listening to the music will get connected and possibly relate to it. There is a lot of mumble jumbo going on at the moment and music has lost the true talent behind the magic of music. When I perform you can hear my voice clearly and understand the lyrics as I ride thru the instrumental. RealHipHopMafia alongside Leapoverdemons is top notch for whichever project we embark on. We are currently offering video production, engineering, studio time, publicist and mix an mastering.
What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?
When the fan touches my heart with their opinions. It matters to me how people react to my emotions on a song giving me that notion that I have to continue giving it my all everyday. Some positive, some negative thoughts towards the music but that is inevitable in a musicians career. Moving forward and putting in the work is the biggest rebuttal to any one’s feeling with my tracks. Pouring my heart out in my music is my mission to deliver good vibes in every letter.
We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
My Social Media presence grew when I placed 2 of my videos on worldstarhiphop.com. Also had some campaigns done with email blast and sponsored ads to drive my potential fans to my platforms. You must build your market presence in order to build a solid brand for yourself Get yourself out there as much as you can by investing in your craft. Have to believe in yourself no matter what anybody says and your goals will flourish. The main thing is to keep consistent so that people will be entertained and make sure you use the best pic available for flawless content.
