We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Alejandra Brady. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Alejandra below.
Hi Alejandra, thanks for joining us today. Let’s start with a story that highlights an important way in which your brand diverges from the industry standard.
I incorporate biophilic design and Feng Shui principles into all of my design projects. This leads to a space that is both aesthetically beautiful and energetically aligned. Doing so provides my clients with a haven and an environment that is auspicious and will energetically help them achieve their goals.

Alejandra, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
In 2017, after 15 years of designing the interiors of beautiful homes and offices, I found myself missing something. I took a break from work and focused on my most important client – me. My actual interior needed a reboot – I found that in Feng Shui, Working and becoming certified under a Feng Shui master practitioner helped me unlock a new and wonderful set of principles to combine with my years of high-end design success. I deliver beautifully designed space that improve the lives of my clients, their families, or their employees.
In 2022, I once again felt the need to dig deeper into how I could continue to elevate my client’s spaces. I found Biophilic Design and completed my certification in early 2023. Biophilic Design has been a wonderful tool to add to my toolbox and it has allowed me to create wellness rooms for corporations, as well as simply enhancing a home’s energy even further.
I experience true inner joy when I see the impact of my recommendations or interior design project, on the life of my clients. My goal is to enhance far more than the appearance of their space, but to improve their well – being and lifestyle in a way they had not imagined.

Have you ever had to pivot?
I chose to completely pivot in 2017. I was told I needed cervical fusion, which was completely unexpected. As I set about wrapping up client projects and getting my home ready for what would be a long recovery, a client suggested a Feng Shui consultation.
I was curious. I wanted to do whatever I could to my home and especially my bedroom, where I would be spending the majority of my 6-8 week recovery. The consultant came over and we implemented her recommendations. The energy in our home began to shift almost immediately. My recovery was seamless and I knew I had to dive deeper into this and be able to do this for my clients.
I shut down my design business during my certification process and then reopened with a new energy and a new set of tools I could use to help my client’s spaces feel the way our home now felt.

What’s a lesson you had to unlearn and what’s the backstory?
A lesson I had to unlearn is that business growth is not linear. I thought everyone would be open to the new modality I wanted to share. I thought the clients would come running, because, who wouldn’t want a higher vibrating and energetically supporting environment, right?
I came to understand that new ideas and change are difficult for people. The clients I had attracted before wanted me back, but they did not want me to use Feng Shui. This did not sit well with me. So, while I was slowly rebuilding my business, I wrote a book. It is about my spiritual journey, and Feng Shui was the catalyst that lead to that journey. My book , “I Just Can’t Make This Sh!t Up,” has now become a best seller on Amazon and won two awards. During this time, I also created the only Feng Shui oracle card deck on the market. It is called “What Should I Feng Shui Today?” It is also on Amazon and in some retail locations around the country.
As I created these products, my client base also grew. Now I have created multiple income revenue streams. So, the moral of the story is, be open to inspiration and new ideas. You never know where they may lead!
