We were lucky to catch up with Aleeta Eyre recently and have shared our conversation below.
Aleeta, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. What do you think it takes to be successful?
Success isn’t found in comfort—it’s built in the moments of discomfort, uncertainty, and challenge. When you feel uneasy or out of your depth, it’s often a sign that you’re growing, pushing past limitations, and stepping into something greater. True progress happens when you embrace the struggle, knowing that discomfort isn’t a sign to stop but a signal that you’re on the right path. The most successful people don’t shy away from feeling uncomfortable; they use it as fuel to push harder, knowing that every challenge overcome is another step toward their goals.
Aleeta, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
Over the past five years as a Master Esthetician, I’ve dedicated myself to perfecting my craft, but it wasn’t until last year that I made the decision to turn my passion into a true business. Since officially launching my company in September, I’ve pushed myself harder than ever, and I’m proud to say that I’ve grown about 85% in just a few months. This journey hasn’t been easy, but it has been incredibly rewarding, and I wouldn’t be where I am today without my amazing clients. Their trust, support, and loyalty mean everything to me, and I am forever grateful for each and every person who has chosen to support my business.
Have you ever had to pivot?
Throughout my journey as a business owner, I’ve had to learn how to pivot when faced with challenges, especially when my health forces me to step back. At times, it can be discouraging to slow down when all I want to do is push forward, but I’ve come to realize that these moments of rest often lead to even greater growth. My incredible clients have been my biggest support system, staying loyal and understanding through it all, and I wouldn’t be where I am today without them. While setbacks can be frustrating, they’ve also taught me resilience, balance, and the importance of appreciating every step of the journey. In the end, every challenge has made my success even more rewarding.
Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?
Social media has been a game-changer for my business, helping me connect with clients and build a loyal audience. It’s given me a platform to showcase my work, share my journey, and create a brand that represents me. For anyone just starting, my biggest advice is to stay consistent. Don’t worry about posting too much—your ideal clients need to see you often to remember you. Some posts will take off, and others won’t, but don’t let that discourage you. Keep showing up, refine your brand’s look, and stay true to yourself. Over time, the right people will find you, and your business will grow because of it.
