We were lucky to catch up with Alcides Nova recently and have shared our conversation below.
Alcides , looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Going back to the beginning – how did you come up with the idea in the first place?
Digital communication plays a key role in achieving the goals of growth and development of companies in all branches and sectors.
The implementation of a communication strategy based on the strategic objectives of the institution, not only makes it possible to achieve the goals, but also allows the audience to identify with the brand and cause a high impact on the surrounding communities.
Given the importance of strategic digital communication for companies and businesses, especially for micro, small and medium enterprises, I trained to help these companies grow and create a close relationship with their customers.
To acquire the necessary knowledge, I studied Social Communication and later I went through all the areas of my career, such as: television, radio, printed, digital and specialized newspapers in economics, finance, energy, sustainability and hydrocarbons, as well as communication agencies. I have also worked in corporate communication, corporate communication and governmental communication.
Later, I decided to work individually, offering my services to large companies and small businesses, at first it was not easy, but thanks to my persistence, knowledge and years of experience, I became the digital communication manager of the Association of Industries of the Dominican Republic, the largest and most important business association in the country.
This helped me to position myself in the sector and to work with different public and private entities, helping these businesses to achieve a larger and more robust digital community, with greater reach and positioning, but above all, with greater knowledge of the impact of the institution in the economic and sustainable growth of the country.
Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I am a journalist specialized in Strategic and Digital Communication, Economics, Sustainability, Content Marketing, Crisis Management, Social Media Management and Strategies and Public Relations. I offer my clients an added value, turning them into a quality reference in their subject of specialization, building a solid brand identity that allows them to have a leading position in the industry.
My work is different from others, because my focus is on the design and implementation of communication strategies and the creation of strategic content of value that generate impact and strengthen the presence of companies in the market, successfully adapting to dynamic and challenging environments.
I help them to maintain a relationship of trust and closeness with their customers and communities, as this is key for the presidency or management of a company or guild to develop a good tactic in strategic communication that allows building strong brands that communicate their value through unified messages.
It fills me with satisfaction to help clients connect with their audiences, through valuable content that allows them to develop goods and services of excellent quality to meet the needs of the communities in which they are immersed and that they can meet their objectives and organizational goals, reflecting their commitment and commitment to a better future for present and future generations.
Giving constant support and advice in each of the activities to ensure the positioning of key messages and that my clients feel supported at the time of being approached by journalists from different media, is one of the tasks I most enjoy in strategic communication.
For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?
To be able to make a project a reality, impregnating the heart of a person is one of the most enriching experiences of this beautiful career, since communication not only allows you to offer services and strategies, but also makes you participate in the achievement of great dreams.
