We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Albreon Gardner a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Albreon, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today We’d love to hear about a project that you’ve worked on that’s meant a lot to you.
I would have to say it’s hard to choose just one. Each project is a special journey of its own. I learn something new about myself and my purpose with every project I embark on. My creative interests are quite vast, and I find that with each project I am able to express and explore different elements of who I am. Each project seems to challenge me in a new way which makes the journey through to the end of each project very special. I’m always profoundly confronted about what I believe and what I’m allowed or capable of doing within each project. I’m always encouraged and reassured by the things that flow organically and the developments so far. I have dedicated my artistic expression to Glorifying God, His ways, and His Love. With that being said I believe every project is meaningful because everything that God creates has a purpose and I believe that everything that God inspires and empowers us to create here on earth has a purpose.
However, there is a very special project that has greatly impacted my momentum in this season; My Latest album “SENT” which is my first album released under WyzeHouse Collective. I started doing music in 2015, I had a very unconventional sound. I was proud of it while I was creating it but when it came time to let others hear it my confidence waned, but my Parents, Grandmother and Sister have always been my biggest supporters cheering me on in everything I set my hands to. As the years went on, I learned more and more about music production mostly through trial and error and I became more confident in my sound. Like many things, I was comfortable working at it alone trusting that God would help and equip me with what I needed to move forward. In 2022 I went through an intense season of pruning, after journeying through that more than ever I just wanted to focus in and set my hand to the plough on all the matters for which God had called me. Towards the end of this pruning period a longtime friend of mine introduced me to Chris Cade and we immediately began working on music. A little less than a year later I joined the WyzeHouse Collective Family and began to see the benefits of being able to work on the things that I love but this time with a team of like-minded believers that share the same goal.
To have help in the thing that means the most to you is such an amazing feeling.
It is life changing and humbling, broadening and inspiring, and it was so unexpected! I LIVE FOR THE UNEXPECTED SWEETNESS OF GOD.
I began to realize all the ways God had been preparing me for the season I’m in Now, both my character and my skills for such a time as this.
When I look over it all it amazes my heart afresh when I think of His kindness, love, and orchestration, how He brings what is necessary in its time. How the fruit of a new season can make the cutting of the last season sweet.
I’ve been a part of many beautiful things in my life.
But as a follower of Christ and someone who has a much better understanding of her purpose and identity at this point in life, this is my first time being a part of a creative collective dedicated to Glorifying God. What makes this project and this Partnership so meaningful is it is the marking of a time of establishment.
Albreon, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
My name is Albreon. I am a vocalist, producer, poet, dancer, actor, graphic designer and content creator.
Growing up I loved to sing and dance and I always loved the power of film. I remember sitting with my Grandma for hours watching PBS specials on the greatest entertainers of old.
I started writing poetry in middle school in an effort to articulate, understand and make peace with some of the difficult parts of the adolescent experience.
In Highschool we were required to take a theatre class for speech and communication development. At the beginning it made me terribly nervous but in time I grew to love it. The following year I auditioned and joined the theatre production team at my school and acting quickly became a new life goal.
After graduating from high school I was given opportunities to sing and act in various spaces. but the burden of comparison and my long fractionated representation of self had become a weight to great to bare in that atmosphere.
I gave it all up to seek God and learn how to be myself.
I gained a lot of clarity in that time and about a year and half later God led me to pursue creativity afresh but this time for His Glory and with His help.
Since then I’ve gone on to create a YouTube channel called ” My Little Space Of Earth by Albreon”, there you can find a network of Christ centered content on various topics.
I’ve released three albums ; “Without Words Volume 1 (instrumental album), “Invitation”, and “Sent”.
One of my favorite things to sing about is the word of God. The word of God is such a lasting and firm tool for believers and the music we listen to has the power to greatly impact the stream of our mediations. I believe our meditations play a big part in shaping our approach to life.
I am a member of WyzeHouse Collective. There are lots of exciting things coming out of WyzeHouse such as music, media, events, books, short films and so much more.

I also manage an editorial style Instagram account dedicated to poetry and Fashion under the name, “Intrinsically_Noted”.
I live a Raw Vegan lifestyle. I’ve been a Raw Vegan for about 5 years now and I manage an Instagram account called
“PlantBasedFoodFunWith_Albreon”. On this account I share pictures, recipes and videos from my journey.
One of the reasons I went Raw Vegan was because I was struggling with some health issues and after much prayer I felt God divinely leading me onto this path. Upon making this lifestyle change my symptoms got worse for 2 weeks than went away all together. My goal is to share the challenges and joys of this lifestyle, promote and hopefully inspire those looking to change their eating habits whether by choice and interest or necessity. I create content around this topic as well.
I think what sets me apart is just being me.
I think our God given identity and purpose is what sets us all apart but I know how hard it can be to forsake the fears, lies and limitations that can hold us back from truthy walking in that.
What I’m most proud of is my relationship with God. It’s an honor and a blessing to be able to do what I love for the kingdom of God. But one day just like the world, the work of my hands will also pass away. My art, my work, my impact, my breath are but for a moment. My relationship with God is eternal. Of this I am most proud to know Him and to be known by Him.
Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?
The goal driving my creative mission is to Glorify God, His ways, His desires, and the beautiful journey of learning his ways and desires. I’ve seen the power the entertainment industry has to govern culture and I would like to use my creativity to promote an alternative.
What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?
For me the most rewarding aspect of being an artist and creative is that the wellspring of fuel and inspiration is ever flowing. But I feel that way about many things, even city building for example there’s always a space for a new building to be built or for an old one to be renovated. There is always space, desire, and demand for a new creation. And what an amazing thing to be able to create with intent and see the fruit there of.
