Alan, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Before we get into specifics, let’s talk about success more generally. What do you think it takes to be successful?
For me, it was always about having the freedom to be on my own schedule, have the resources to travel and enjoy hobbies I love with my friends and family, and be able to work on something that I really enjoyed.
A key component to success is to figure out what you want to achieve and then put in the hard work to make it happen. You must identify what tools, resources, and positions you need in order to move fast and be able to create a good product or service. Being able to identify where you want to be and what your future looks like will help you work backwards when it comes to achieving your goals.
In business, it’s very hard to predict what direction you are going because there will be so many pivots and changes along the way, but what is irreplaceable is the experience and knowledge that you will gain along this journey that will ultimately lead to your end result, which is why showing up every day and consistency is the most important asset.
Alan, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
I am a business owner obsessed with growth. Following the success of my own E-Commerce stores, I knew that I had a passion for brand development and online marketing. I found it almost impossible to find a team that could consistently give results when it came to content and online advertising. That is when Media Jet Marketing was born.
My brother and I started Media Jet in 2018 to empower business owners and to make sure that they have the right tools and resources to run a strong digital marketing campaign. Entrepreneurs everywhere learn that marketing success is a repeatable, predictable process.
We are confident that no E-commerce marketing team is as equipped and personalized as Media Jet, due to our hands-on experience with our previous stores, and the number of clients that we audit and work with. Media Jet has created a culture and knowledge base that is unmatched when it comes to digital advertising.

What else should we know about how you took your side hustle and scaled it up into what it is today?
My brother Jorge and I went Full Time on Media Jet since its launch in 2018 and never looked back. We never doubted that it would turn into a successful agency. When I first moved to LA to start Media Jet, we only started with 1 service. Keeping things simple we were able to grow the agency slowly until after about 6 months we were able to pay ourselves the minimum to live in LA.
We got an office at the end of that year and had a team of about 4, allowing us to start perfecting the services we were providing and making sure that our clients were getting the best results.
In 2020, we made the decision to become a fully remote agency, which was a pivotal moment for the agency. This allowed us to ultimately find the best talent and continue growing Media Jet.
Now with a team of about 17, we are able to give our clients consistent results and lead them to marketing success.
Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?
Surprisingly a lot of our clients have been referred to us. This is because Jorge and I really focus on being the best marketers in the industry. Our company culture is also very focused on empowering our staff to be able to execute the best marketing campaigns. We are heavily invested in our client’s success, which is why we go above and beyond when it comes to bringing our team the latest and greatest marketing strategies.
From marketing summits to online education, we will always have the latest E-commerce strategies at Media Jet. At the end of the day, if our clients grow, then we grow as well!
